  1. This was showing as sold out on the ticket site yesterday when i had a look, 3 weeks before the game!! and it is on SKY!! makes you think, i reckon we could get 40-42k ish for a game like that, Arsenal could bring down 6k
  2. couple of points from this thread ; - we aren't really in a position to laugh at Reading support , yes we have taken loads to Hartlepool midweek in recent years but I remember going to sunderland on a bitterly cold Tuesday night in Jan 2003 and there was only 150 odd saints fans there. - we can't laugh at Arsenal defeat or oxo performance after the way they embarrassed us earlier in the season
  3. I went along, thought we were generally very poor , far too lightweight in midfield and up front , physical Everton side bossed it and we never really troubled their keeper. disappointing really was looking forward to a good cup run. no one really stood out as having potential.
  4. the only annoying thing is giving those fans in block 42/41 who HAVE to move one day to do it, Tuesday 18th, why lot let them buy in the season ticket holder period? as long as they buy a seat that doesn't belong to another season ticket holder i don't see the problem. If i don't manage to buy on that one day price goes up to £28
  5. according to my Reading mate, saints wanted them to pay up front for the allocation so they only took the basic, looks like saints have agreed to give them some more, silly situation if you ask me, if we are going to do it like that then make an early decision and put block 43 on sale to home fans otherwise you end up with the last minute brigade being buying in 43 and diluting the atmosphere between the Northam and away fans.
  6. any news on ticket sales for this ?
  7. we'll probably only take 1500 up there , fulham 3 days before Arsenal at home just after. no glamour and £25 tickets perfect.
  8. we've got villa away and Arsenal / Everton at home in Jan, that's not too bad in the grand scheme of things, plus man utd away.
  9. remember Chelsea are entitled to a bigger allocation over 4000 and they'll bring the whole lot, block 42 will have to relocate. hopefully sensible £25 tickets and an interesting game.
  10. my favourite kit was the blue flamed hummel kit we wore in the 1992 ZDS Cup final, i think it looked particularly good as we had model players like Terry Hurlock and Iain Dowie in it.
  11. reading the article we have Man Utd U21s at St Marys next week, and will play Newcastle U21s at Eastleigh on the 17th, but it doesn't say anywhere how much they'll charge to get in, Spurs were charging a fiver the other week at White Hart Lane, should be free for season ticket holders really.
  12. good news if ticket sales are going well, big crowd, night match and all that, but for those last min fans who buy in block 43, please don't be afraid to stand up and join in with a few songs, the ones who were in there yesterday generally sat in silence, like a block of the chapel stand being sandwiched between the Northam and the away section actually dilutes the atmosphere / banter.
  13. really looking forward to this one , despite the over priced tickets always enjoy going up to Anfield. I disagree with Pap , the nightlife is decent but not as good as he makes out in my experience. I find the city to be enjoyable for a day time session sampling some of the many old fashioned pubs that still exist , try having a bowl of scouse for lunch at the Baltic fleet pub down by the Albert dock. for those of you who haven't been before I recommend watching this video to give you an idea what to expect

    Youth Report

it's the U21s that are home to man utd mate on 3rd Dec I think. the u18s are home to Everton in FA youth cup 10th Dec. I'll probably go to both so give me a shout if you fancy it
  15. it is because of his refusal to work to the doctrine of Mr Les Reed
  16. How can they still sit their and go on about amazing support, over 200,000 unique fans attending games, yet with crowds of under 10k? the media lap it up as always, like it or not their support does have a reputation for being fanatical and loud among football circles
  17. they also have their main defender Coluccini suspended
  18. something odd is going on , don't know why we didn't give Newcastle more originally as they could sell them. they've just been given another 300 http://mobile.nufc.co.uk/default.aspx?s=news-display&aid=2985116
  19. I'll give him a round of applause, he deserves that and a thanks from the fans for what he achieved. it was Pardew's signings that set us up for Promotion and signing Lambert . no reason why the fans can't do that and still get behind the team / Adkins
  20. Surprised at how quickly these sold out, when they went on sale to just season ticket holders (not with away games on file) there was only restricted view left, good turn out.
  21. any news on the number of tickets sold for this game ? usually someone goes on the online site and counts seats remaining, standards are slipping if no one has done this yet .
  22. hello Just Mike, whatever happened to the Liebherr flag? did you ever get a proper response from the club ?
  23. maybe they were slipping little notes into peoples programmes to tip them off with info to go back and share on the saints forum?
  24. is this on sale to non-season ticket holders now? good allocation of nearly 3200 but thought it would have sold out already. am sure it will.

    Qpr

http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/051112-saints-sold-out-467594.aspx The home end is a complete sell out for this so when we've sold our tickets should be a good atmosphere
