Agreed. Everyone knows Barcelona play like The Saints.

No. My New iPad is the first iOS device that I haven't bothered jailbreaking. What is it exactly you want to be able to do that you can't with an un-jail broken one? The only thing I can think of that I'd like is the 3G Unrestrictor to fool some Apps into thinking I'm on wifi and not 3G - but even BBC iPlayer now plays over 3G, so there are very few Apps that it restricts me with and I can't remember the last time it was a problem - but possibly a large download that needed wifi... But it's no biggie. I use MyWi on my jail broken iPhone from time to time, but I can use the new iPad as a Personal Hotspot anyway on my 3 account. Infinifolders might be useful, but I haven't run out of space in any of my iPad folders yet. SB Settings is useful on the iPhone, but I don't miss it on the iPad. To be honest, the single most reason I even bother with Jailbreaking my iPhone is to 'acquire' TomTom. iOs 6.0 release is imminent; This includes the new Maps app powered by TomTom and including turn-by-turn instructions etc. and unlimited folder contents, so I can see me jumping straight in to iOS 6.0 and not waiting for a Jailbreak. I'm not interested in obtaining free/pirated apps and don't tart around with themes and such cr@p. I think my Jailbreaking days could be over with the release of iOS 6.0. Again, what is it you would actually want to Jailbreak your New iPad for?

Try just switching it off then back on again. Or just do a soft reset: Hold the power button and home button down at the same time, keep holding them until it shuts itself down and only release them when it starts to power itself back on and the Apple logo is displayed.

No, I dropped him (plus two) to Gatwick on Thursday for the outward journey. The players weren't due back in for training until tomorrow (Monday) morning. Bad news - I was looking forward to seeing him properly back in action.

*La Marseillaise
-
He's French, so what can possibly be better than Singing his name to the tune of La Maseillaise (the French National Anthem / the Oo Ahh Cantona song)? His name fits perfectly and it can be sung loudly without being sped up to 1000mph and having the backboards bashed by the Northam idiots. Mor-gaaan Mor-gaaan, Mor-gan Schnei-der-lin Mor-gaaaaaan Schneider-liiiin

This doesn't wash with me. Cortese /the club give two free season tickets to full time staff; They can't use both, so in effect they are allowed by the club to 'transfer' at least one (if not both) of the tickets to somebody else every match. Buying a match ticket to 'transfer'/tout it is one thing; this is entirely different. Disappointingly petty by Cortese.
-
I've been dropping him to training in the mornings. Nice lad. Big too!
-
I'm picking up from that flight later today ;-)
-
Less words and more chance of The Northam speeding it up to 100mph - you could be right.
-
C'mon, stop panicking; We know he's ours at last. How about:- (To the Balotelli tune) Gaaaaaaastón Ramirez, He's Uruguayaaaan, he's ****ing class. He took a while to sign, But he's Southampton now at last. And when he gets the ball, he'll put your full back on his arse. Gaaaaaaaaastón Ramirez....(repeat ad infinitum)

Emmanuel Mayuka - Officially Signed on OS - Work Permit Confirmed
Essruu replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
From the limited amount of YouTube videos I've seen of Mayuka, I can only say WOW. I'm excited. Finally we have a player who can do a decent backflip goal celebration. -
So, had he had two or three glasses of wine during and after a meal with friends and assumed he was under the limit? Or had he driven from bar to bar, club to club, getting steadily more smashed, downing shots and champagne on top of 14 pints of lager, then getting in his car whilst mumbling f*** the law? Two very different attitudes and scenarios; I'm sure all of you getting on your moral high horses know exactly what happened and what he'd been doing all night...
-
He does. All the time. Most of the players do. I have driven him since the incident and, although my professionalism meant we didn't talk about it, he is clearly down about what happened. I can assure you that, knowing him as I do, this was totally out of character. He's a family man, not a boozy big-time Charlie.

No, what I said was:- The first and foremost point being that Samsung were torn apart on copyright infringement. Samsung (SEC) copied Apple. Proved in court. Proved by the disclosure of internal SEC emails. Why should Samsung or any other company profit from simply piggy-backing Apple design and innovation? This case might actually be a good thing for consumers; It will mean that not only will Apple design and bring new technologies and devices to market (that others have hitherto blatantly copied), but Samsung and others will now hopefully design and bring their own and different ideas, technology and devices to market as well.
-
It's not about the damages (Apple doesn't need the measly $1bn.) It's about Samsung and other manufacturers needing to have their own innovations and products, not just relying on Apple to produce things then copy them. Microsoft do it in copying OS X, now Samsung and others are doing it copying the iPhone and iPad.

Noel Gallagher ticket - 4th September at Bournemouth BIC
Essruu replied to Griffo's topic in Buy / Sell
Why, who else is going to be there? -
That phenomena isn't specific to the iPhone. You clearly aren't privy to The9's Facebook feed; Him, wis wife and Michelle take road trip and pub visit craziness to a new level.
-
FIFA is the only thing I ever play. The rest of my games just gather dust.

What? You mean a newly released Samsung model is, according to some people, a little bit better than his 2+yr old iPhone 4 model? Do you mean in hardware, build quality, operating system or usability terms? Regardless of your answer, maybe once the new iPhone is announced we should compare it to the first release (2010) Galaxy S model too? Somehow I think the differences were be markedly different to what Delldays is comparing right now (even if we disregard the fact that he may not know how to properly use either model!)
-
Every single one of Samsung's claims thrown out. Plus £1billion+ damages for copying Apple and infringing copyright. Enjoy your Samsung Galaxy, Delldays. You just indirectly paid Apple for it :-)
-
4:08:11 PM PDT Samsung's claims against Apple up next....

Any reason?
