That would be an incredible waste of £4m. I hope you're wrong.

What are the chances of Forren being involved?
-
Coutinho has got Suarez in front of him. If Ramirez had that he'd look the ******** as well.

I've said it before, but it's not just a case of Gaston settling in, it's also the rest of the team getting used to him. A few times I've seen him play defence splitting balls, like the reverse pass against Norwich, that aren't being read by the others. He also finds space, but isn't being played in because a few of our players seem scared of passing forwards in the final third. He does need to cut down a bit on the flicks. They have cost us possession when we've been in really dangerous attacking positions. I am loathe to write him off, he's far too good a player.

Good posters that don't bother any more and you can see why!

And then there are the blatant trolls... The forum is crap now because of them. -
I can see the merits of starting either one of them. To be honest, it's difficult to pick our whole best 11 at the moment. I don't envy Maurice.

Chelsea win could mean our game postponed....

Who gives a f*ck if it's opposed by Benitez? -
No. I admire your optimism, fair play to you.

They might as well put a few spaceships on there as well. Just as likely to be there as the rest of it. Pie in the sky.

Glad we haven't settled with Adkins yet. Settle it after we play Reading.
-
They're 2 players that play in different positions, 1 is a winger, the other plays in the hole. Don't think Gaston had his best game yesterday, but he did play a glorious reverse pass that wasn't read by Rodriguez. In time, it will come good.

Norwich City 0-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction

Changed my mind, never a penalty, not that it mattered anyway. Lallana and Lambert both missed chances that have to be put away at this level. Good performances alone are not enough, we have to make our dominance count. Hopefully none of the teams below us will win any of their next couple of games. -

Simple, but bang on the button. -

Fingers crossed we don't lose Morgan or Cork. They are outstanding week in, week out. -

They were f*cking sh*t down the right last week. But to be fair, I reckon Clyne was carrying a knock. -

Have to disagree, Ramirez was ineffective, Guly did ok. And I reckon it was a clear penalty. Mind you, if he gives that, he has to give the one for the foul by Bassong on Lallana. -

We have to be more clinical in front of goal. Boruc got Shaw out of jail. -
Boruc just got Shaw out of jail. Looked like a push in the back to me.

Watched Gaston close up last week. His first touch is outstanding, but I was getting annoyed that he was finding space and making himself available, but team mates preferred the easy option of checking back all the time. He does need to knock the fancy flicks on the head though, they didn't come off for him a couple of times last week, and cost us possession in dangerous areas of the pitch. He is a quality player who is just going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment. Stick with him, class is permanent.

Rodriguez is growing into an excellent player, Davis is very capable at this level as well. Mayuka and Gazzaniga, I reckon that money could definitely have been better spent. Forren, I don't know. But I find it staggering that he is still lacking fitness.

Would Di Matteo be welcomed if appointed

It would make no sense to appoint MP short term. He had other job offers, so I reckon this is a case of 2+2=5. -
He deserves it for his loyalty alone. Magnificent servant to the club, although I think his best days are behind him.
