Despite my doubts about Adkins, I will continue to give the team my full support. My opinions on here do not change that unwaivering fact.

If this were true (which I'm really not sure about), then I would actually have less respect for Adkins. He should stand up for himself, and play how the side how he wants to. Or, he should walk. If it's true and he's happy with it, then he's a fool. A lot of ifs there. Personally, If he is being played he should stand up to his bosses, or walk and get his contract paid up (constructive dismissal-not being able to do his job properly). He doesn't strike me as spineless, he proved that when he refused to resign as S****horpe manager when we wanted him. If he walked, he would easily find decent work elsewhere. If he doesn't, is he just here for the money?

Drop Lambert, because if he gets injured we will need to be able to cope without him. Genius. Saints fans might not have been unhappy at half-time, but who cares. The Hammers were certainly happy at full-time. We seem to do ok in the first half of games, but a couple of changes in tactics by the opposition in the second half and we are done for.

The point was, should we be able to question the manager or bow to his better judgement. I'm not sure it is a ludicrous comparison though.

The argument that Adkins knows best and shouldn't be questioned is a load of cock and bull. Why can't his decisions be questioned. Were we wrong to question Branfoot when Matty was dropped? Or should we just have accepted it because he saw more of the players on the training pitch? Maybe for the sake of stability, we should have stuck with Branfoot, Jones or Gray 'for the sake of stability', even though we probably would have got relegated in every case.

I find it utterly incredible that people are trying to justify our best player being left out and subbed all the time. Face facts, it's a f*ck up.

Yeah right, I expect you would have said the same thing when Branfoot dropped Le Tissier. It looks pretty obvious that they have fallen out. I doubt Ricky was too pleased after the Fulham game when Adkins said he should have taken him off sooner. Dropping Lambert to the bench was a bloody stupid thing to do, whatever way you look at it.

I think the right person will definitely get more from the players, make them better organised and harder to beat. I think Adkins has lost the dressing room. It has to be the right person though. Someone who has been successful in the Premier League.

I admire your loyalty, but can you honestly see us getting anything v Spurs? I can't. I think the dressing room has been lost and we need a change.

Why a former defender? Brian Clough wasn't a defender, nor was George Graham. Both managers had superb defences. Adkins was a keeper himself!

Whoever it is must have Premier League experience.

Strachan came in when Gray was doing a crap job and we were really struggling. He turned us round. Ball did he same, when he came in for Branfoot. I see no reason why a new manager wouldn't be able to turn us around. We've got decent players, and I don't think our manager is getting the most from them. As each week goes by, and the manager makes more and more mistakes, I have less and less confidence in him. Pay him off now, he'll walk into a Championship job. Win win situation.

Crap, if the manager picks the wrong players, or takes the wrong players off, then it is his fault.

I reckon there's been a bit of a barney between Adkins and Lambert. Great bit of management to drop him though. It is like Branfoot all over again. Ridiculous. Hopefully it will work, but I can't see it.
