  1. A number of these private institutions sacked qualified nurses and replaced them with unqualified staff. Still, it probably boosted their profits.

Coincidentally, I've never been there! How strange.

My eldest daughter was conceived near St Michaels Mount.
  4. It would appear that there isn't the appetite to stop tomorrows coronation beyond the English and Scottish FA's. Personally, I would withdraw our representation from FIFA as the only protest open to us. It seems too many delegates have their snouts in Blatter's trough. To be honest, I don't really want us to be part of any further Blatter World Cups. David Davies likened Blatter to a dictator of a corrupt African or Arab country who simply refuses to give up his position. Brilliant analogy in my book.
  5. Yes it has. Same old boring gits hijacking threads.
  6. You keep doing it dune. Hopefully you'll be banned soon. One less idiot on the road.
  7. I like speed cameras. They make the roads safer. People that get caught speeding by them, despite the signs, are stupid. Dune, you are very stupid.
  8. I dispensed of my milkman's services. The price of the milk was OK, but unless you bought over a certain amount each week the price was too high. I was fed up of having too much milk in my fridge, so regrettably, he was fired.
  9. If Blatter gets in we should pull out of FIFA. Others would soon follow, FIFA is now basically a house of cards. I don't have that much more faith in the FA as I do FIFA though, unfortunately. They should let Trevor Brooking run the FA, instead of the committee men. What on earth has Bernstein got to offer?
  10. I find your clutching at straws arguments in favour of Lowe amusing. You must be related to him.
  11. I couldn't give a rats arse about Lowe, Woodward, Clifford etc. They are history. Move on you boring gits.
  12. The Guly deal was already on the table(I doubt it was near £1m), you don't know how much Forte cost, Chaplow was a steal at £50k and Stephens was brought in on loan when people were crying out for a midfielder to be bought. Cortese had money to spend, but chose not to because he had faith in the squad, and knows promotion means we can aim a little higher in the Summer.
  13. Spot on. He resisted spending big in January, despite what a lot of fans were saying, held his nerve and was proved right. We go into next season in a better position for it.
  14. I want us to win every game we play, so the original question is a bit of a no-brainer.
  15. I thought we played decent stuff when he took over. We had quite a few decent results, and played noce attacking football. The pre-season came and went and a few senior players f*cked him over really, and Wigley went squealing to Lowe. I would prefer Sturrock over the useless Wigley any day of the week. F*cking Rupert Lowe was a f*cking idiot.
  16. Woodford was a decent chairman to work for. Askham and Lowe weren't and their judgement was very average. That's why we've been through so many managers, after a long period of stability. One of my best days of supporting Saints was when Branfoot was sacked and Bally got the job.
  17. Personally, I think giving Wigley the job, and keeping him in it for so long, was the biggest mistake. Lowe's judgement was seriously bad there.
  18. It would have to be voted by the clubs in next season's championship. Does it have to be a unanimous vote? If it does I can't see it going through. Different clubs have different types of funding. I still think we should be able to pay what we like.
  19. If I was Cortese, I'd tell the rest of the league that we run our club how we want. As long as we don't go into administration we can do what we want.
  20. So if a prisoner on a 10 year sentence behaves himself inside he could get parole after 5 years. Doesn't seem that complicated to me. I think 10 years should mean 10 years.
  21. I'm working, which is unfortunate as I am extremely talented.
  22. Speed kills. Let that be a lesson to you young man.
  23. I think Wes's second point is a sound one. Do you seriously need evidence that prisoners don't get released early for good behaviour?
  24. Ken Clarke would be in favour of a softer sentence because some acid throwing incidents causing blindness aren't as serious as other acid throwing incidents causing blindness. Ken probably thinks that 5 acid drops in just 1 eye is fair.
  25. Agreed. To be fair to Flowers though, he improved a hell of a lot after he left us. One of the best keeping performances in living memory was his for Blackburn against Newcastle.
