  2. Jack Cork was good for us and is no doubt a realistic target, but for people putting his name forward, what is his best position, and where might he fit in for us ?
  3. No surprise that at the end of the page on the first thread was as advert for Adult Learners' Week. They really are a sad bunch of interbred retards.
  4. Well for me (to use a Channonism) it is Mick Channon's celebration and will remain so. I'm not keen on some 'upstart' using it ! (although I have tried teaching my son for use at his juniors team).
  5. ..or their Scots equivalent: Ben Doon and Phil McCavity
  6. that could easily have been 'forecast'...
  7. Agree that some more imaginative songs would be welcome. Don't agree with you about the poznan crap though;when Saints score its euphoria time, and part of that is the spectacle of the teams response when they and the fans can go berserk - "together as one" . I'd rather see Guly,Lambert or Barnards celebration rather than turn away from the pitch to see the back end of some hairy arsed bastard with jeans that start slipping down as he and his row start jumping around,at about face height to my row...
  8. The "poznan" is utter b0ll0cks. Player scores, and the crowd turn their back and celebrate, what sort of f^ckwit came up with that ? City might enjoy it but hope it does not catch on at Saints. "sloop John B" is a bit tedious being recycled for everything. Not heard the other three at Saints though.
  9. ..to include Simon Clifford ?
  10. Do you mean an Elliot Ward in blabbing too much too soon to the press?
  11. apart from the skates, obviously.

  13. Two seasons, and remarkably he played well after he left us, Blackburn I think. For us however he was just a drain on resources. I disliked him before he joined us, loathed the bastard whilst he was on our payroll, thought he was bigger than the club, caused rifts in the dressing room, and dismissed MLT.
  14. She really seems a rough classless scrubber despite her best efforts to appear sophisticated.
  15. Good design but it looks a bit too 'Leeds Utd' in that colour scheme. Chevrons will be in vogue next season but I hope we avoid them as it appears just to be aping the mancs football fashion. Yes, Palace in the early 80's, whose style of play was the most opposite of the great Brazil in c1970. Sorry I don't share with this obsession for yellow and blue despite 1976 ( and yes, I was there). Our 'traditional' away kit was yellow(or amber) and black. THe yellow/blue was a 1970's fashion that we followed. Great at the time but not all the time. I think we have done yellow shirts, blue shorts to death ..and all black, as just about every other club has as well now.Watching Saints v Sheff Weds at SMS could not help thinking how boring and predictable Weds' kit was in that yellow/blue comination.Surely we can do better ?
  16. I think Birmingham would be a greater threat and force if they drop down than W Ham will be.
  17. but in the totally opposite direction...
  18. Definitely. Its £1.5M upwards, or Puncheon can spend the rest of his contract doing what he is idealy suited for at Staplewood, cleaning the bogs.
  19. or the geezer who ran on the pitch to interview Chaplow last Sunday ?
  20. Doubt it will a player signing, or a shirt announcement as the club tend to try and build that one up into a major event by drip feeding 5,4,3 days to go etc... Tickets are probably the most likely subject.
  21. Is he tweeting from home or from LV though ?
  22. Anthony Pulis signs a contract extension.
  23. Another reason to ignore it then.
  24. Stacey
