3,062,681,465th, and in the all time tally 76,736,270,401st Might demand a recount.

but wasn't Malcom Waldron from somewhere near Skatesville? Mick Mills, although coming to us on after Ipswich, also started as a junior there before they decided they could no longer afford to run either the juniors or reserve team in the 1960's.

That 4-0 was the last time we beat Boro at home as far as I'm aware. They've been a bit of a bogey team to us since, especially that 2-2 draw, 'Arry's first game in charge. How he managed to turn things round, for the first89 minutes. So either we are due to beat the f^ckers or the bogey continues, depending if you are a glass half full or empty sort of person. As for the swear filter, its a good job its 'Boro not S****horpe as the cocks won't allow that word still.

Let's not forget Bobby Stokes place of birth. Nothing particularly new in this, Saints taking the most talented players in the area.
-
Good planning, two Aarons as centrebacks, with two Dans as full backs.
-
Forte. Needs more playing time, or just not good enough?
Badger replied to CWD's topic in The Saints
Ditto. But beyond that, he is just a back up and now we can forget about the Carling Cup I expect his first team appearances will be a thing of the past. -
Did the ticket price reflect the likely team selections ? Not that it helps travel costs etc. In truth the league is priority and it was abundantly clear that a weakened team would play. The only time I have felt 'cheated' by the team selection was in the cup v ManU in 2005 when Redknapp - again for good reason - put out a weak side and the tickets were top price.

Another Chaplow resembles : Sorry can't photoshop or bastardise the image to red and white stripes

Not a surprise given their indifferent results, only down point is that we did not take advantage of it. Whether its good or bad for us depends on who they get in.Martin O'Neil's name is bound to be linked, assuming he can sell his flat in Winchester.
-
I thought it was probably a precaution as he was on a yellow card.

That's the frustrating thing about Guly though, one moment of skill, brilliance or sublime pass, but for the rest of it a virtual passenger. I'm inclined to agree with B Rabbit's view as Guly was out of it for long periods, needlessly giving the ball away at times - including the build up to their goal - and offered little. But yet again you can't deny his contribution in rescuing the point. I can't remember the last time we had such an enigma playing for us.

Similarities can be drawn with Jason Dodd. Now I wonder if he'd have divided loyalties when Saints played Plymouth, or Mick Channon when we play the skates. Murty comes across as a decent bloke,I can't really see the purpose in calling for him to be crucified.

http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/87388/1/watch-reading-fc-vs-southampton.html found this, Soccer AM is streaming and working fine for me from this website, so hopefully the game will too.

Yes just checked, he did.

Of the three,I think Rodriguez the most likely in view of the 'info' above from someone's contact at Burnley, and also the fact Sharpe will be recovering from a broken leg.
-
That seems quite possible but although Hooper is a good goalscorer he probably wouldn't satisfy the other issue we seem to be looking for, and Maynard's main attribute, pace. So much depends if we are looking for a traditional striker or one with pace.

I too pine for the days of the RAF Dog Display Team. or the Albion Band.
-
Jos in time. (which is a bit tame). I prefer F^ck off Slobberdyce, you greasy gumchewing reptile.
-
Uncharacteristicly it appears I too offered a voice of reason.

I heard Jones declined to speak to Bristol City possibly due to one of two reasons, either restrictions placed on him by Cardiff or has the skates job lined up. Not sure if Cardiff could impose such restrictive terms on his severance though.
