Interesting stats/analysis by David, although LJ's record of 7goals 18 games for a struggling side is impessive, I'm not sure a direct comparison can be made: Guly - has spent much of the season wide mf not out and out striker Lallana - ditto Connolly - yes, I accept he is only good in short bursts Maynard - similar to LJ but proven over longer (although not necessarily thr back up for Rickie) Rodriguez - nothing to add, but long term possibly a better prospect ? Sharp - 4 goals but missed a few weeks due to injury. Think we might do better inthe Jan window, but will wait and see what Adkins brings in,and trust his judgement.

I often think the same as you, but frankly we just need to take care of our own performances and results without worrying or hoping about others.

There seemed to be some antagonism with another bloke at some stage. At first I assumed it was a late arrival finding someone parked in their seat and refusing to move,although one of our group sat a few seats closer suggested another line of abuse exchanged between the two of them before it all blew up. For info, does the loan window close this week ? Thought I heard something to that effect yesterday on radio, but not sure. Somehow I don't expect a loan signing yet, unless with a view to permanent in the new year.Signing in January seems more likely in my view.

I think his continuing loyalty might coincide with suggestions that he failed a medical at Sporting Braga after his previous contract expired, but to be fair he has not created or rocked the boat about lack of chances here.

As were Harding & Dickson at LB but NA clearly felt he could bring in someone to improve on what we had.
