Agree. Actually I think the fee was c £20,000, which also underlined at the time that we were getting a bloke who had already been 'pensioned off'. Frank Worthington is another candidate. I have thought this for a while now, especially in view of inflated costs associated with domestic players. If we are considering spending £4-5-6m perhaps, then we might better value on the continent (Vossen was a name bandied about in the summer) than here (relatively inexperienced Rodriguez for example).

With a depleted squad and limited options up front I can't see us getting much out of this game and fear another defeat to a p!ss poor bottom three side (3-0) who have found a bit of form before we play them. Hope I'm wrong.
