  1. So you don’t really care about her victims, you’re just using the case for trolling purposes. Sad 😔
  2. The Met should take a leaf out of West Yorkshire plod’s book and start a crackdown on burglaries and assault. We’ll done 👏 The police maybe great, but some of the women are fucking ugly….
  3. I’m not a Tory, so don’t understand where this “you” comes from. I’ve voted Tory, when it’s suited my needs, but I’ve voted against them more times than for them over many General and local elections. One such occasion was 2019, purely along Brexit grounds and I suspect that was more a factor than “levelling up” in the Red wall (it’s a load of old pony anyway). There used to be a party for these red wall working people, a party that was socially conservative, patriotic, and euro sceptic, but would throw a bit of money around. Unfortunately, they got taken over by middle class metropolitan liberals who struggle defining what a bird is, want to welcome every Tom, Dick & Mo to our shores & brand people who don’t agree with them racists and thick .
  4. He claimed she said our shores “are about” to be invaded by Billions. She didn’t say that at all, she said “billions eager to come here if possible”. Completely different things. Im sure there’s billions that would rather live in England than the hell holes they live in, but billions aren’t going to invade us, and she didn’t say they were.
  5. Could you point us in the direction of where the Home Secretary floated this idea? You know, the idea “billions” of migrants, because I must have missed that . I’d hate to think you made it up, so a link would be great. “Billions” 😂
  6. You’re just labelling people you don’t agree with as “far right”, which is the modern way I’m afraid. The opposition parties and commentators do it all the time, and that leads to ordinary joes (and unordinary Soggys) labelling anyone connected to Brexit or The centre of the Tory party as such. You have the ridiculous spectacle of people calling Boris, a classic wringing wet pinko, hard right. The hard right, don’t throw tax payers money at peoples energy bills, they don’t try and speed up growth via immigration, they don’t expand the state, and they certainly don’t loosen fiscal policy to fund tax cuts. Reagan & Maggie both raised taxes when needed to control debt, this lot just borrow more. As Peter Hitchens never stops saying “the biggest hindrance to conservative policies is The Conservative party”. Whether you borrow to spend or borrow to reduce taxes, you’re still borrowing. There’s no coherent right wing of the Tory party any more than there’s a coherent left wing of the Labour Party. There’s a few wannabes on each side, with a blob of professional politicians in the middle, basically 2 checks of the same arse.
  7. Pretty much, yes. O Brien himself complained that the “mainstream media” wasn’t taking it as seriously as they should have been. Claiming the story needs “injections of enthusiasm from outside because it still isn’t dominating front pages or securing splashes”. Between him & Watson they made innocent people’s lives a misery. Like you, their hatred of all things “Tory “ clouded their judgement. Unfortunately, their warped hatred had far more serious consequences than your spamming of threads does.
  8. Anyone who thinks Truss is “hard right” shouldn’t really be commenting on politics.
  9. Don’t be such a drama queen. “The downfall of this country” 😂. Sounds a pretty boring book if Boris is the subject of several chapters, the type of book written for sad sacks who spend all day watching The privileges committee hearings on a spring day. Lighten up, you could be in France or some other dysfunctional country.
  10. Sorry for the late reply, I was reading your essay. Let us try this one more time. Khan stated on Sky news that he takes “full responsibility “ for the Met, & accepts he is effectively the elected police & crime commissioner of London. Why does he do that, why doesn’t he listen to you and deny any responsibility? Is it because he’s a decent bloke & doesn’t want The Home Sec getting more clog, or is it because the Mayors of London, Greater Manchester & West Yorkshire have the role as part of their functions. One thing for sure, you’d be blaming Boris if he was still London Mayor. Khan needs to get a grip of serious crime in London and get a grip on the Met. The fact he acknowledges it’s his responsibility is refreshing and honest, perhaps you could take a leaf out of his book. I await you long boring reply……..
  11. Strange, because when Kay Burley puts it to him that he’s ultimately responsible for the met, that he’s basically the elected police and crime commissioner of London he agrees. He then goes on to say he takes “full responsibility” for police performance in London. Interesting, that you know more about a man’s job, than the bloke actually doing it. Perhaps that’s why he’s so bad at it, he doesn’t know what he is and isn’t responsible for. Of course the alternative is he fully knows what he’s responsible for, and you’re wrong and full of pony.
  12. Send them off.
  13. I did “check my facts”, thanks for the prompt. “Ms Dick was appointed by Her Majesty the Queen following a recommendation from the Home Secretary. The views of the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, were considered by the Home Secretary as part of this recommendation.” Khan on Sky “ I take full responsibility “ . The major is responsible for setting the strategic direction of policing in London through the Police and Crime Plan. My problem with Khan isn’t that he’s a Muslim, it’s his systematic ruining of a great city. Bring back Boris!!!!!
  14. If they wanted to protect the capital’s environment , they’d be better off banning you and your ilk rather than the working man’s transport. More hot air enters the atmosphere when you spout your pony than any white van could produce. Perhaps Khan should concentrate on knife crime & other such matters before addressing your middle class concerns.
  15. Half the problem with refs is themselves. If they weren’t so incompetent they wouldn’t get so much clog. They’ve got the tools to clamp down on abuse, dissent and swearing but don’t have the balls to do so. They’re more interested in “managing” the game, rather than enforcing the laws of the game.
  16. The Bally one for me. If memory serves we had a pretty poor Easter and I thought that was it, but we got out of it. The atmosphere was great at West Ham last day, one of my favourite memories.
  17. Isn’t it a shame that Khan isn’t showing the same zeal in dealing with problems within the met as he is in trying to drive motorists off the road. After all, he’s been in his job a lot longer than Suella.
  18. Taken in isolation, West Ham, Fulham, Bournemouth, Forest, Palace & Brighton are winnable in the run in, but can’t see us winning anymore than half of them. Add a draw or 2 and maybe a draw in one of the tougher 4 other games and you’re looking at 33/34 points. Be a miracle if we stay up with that number. I guess if the 3 wins are Bournemouth, Forest & Palace, and then palace implode there’s a slight chance with that low total, but I don’t really see it. Our home form is way too ropey & we don’t convert enough chances.I want to still believe, but just can’t.
  19. Soggy, can you put people on ignore rather than spam every thread with your boring pony that has no relevance to the topic?
  20. And would then call Camelot “far right”.
  21. I understand that Brentford put in a tremendous away performance & deservedly won. They are a credit to clubs of their size, extremely well run, nice little ground & players that fight for the cause. There was only one club missing their “soul” and it wasn’t them.
  22. Don’t be so fucking soft. “Lose your soul”.. 😂 what a drama nod.
