  1. Fucking hell I had the misfortune to turn on the chicks hundred. The state of some of them, hundred balls? , hundred pies more like.
  2. Legendary 😂😂😂😂
  3. Just as bad as proclaiming we’ve bought in more quality, despite not having a fucking clue who they are, or ever seen them play. Priceless.
  4. How on earth can you judge the transfer window only hours after it’s closed. It’s a pony thread with pony replies. 8 out of 10, 9 out of 10, nobody can make any judgements yet, people who claim they can, are bluffing.
  5. 😂 you’ve more chance of going to the moon in a shoe box. That ship sailed years ago, so last century.
  6. Proper footballer and decent bloke. There wasn’t any doubt he’d leave in a classy manner.
  7. I heard or read (can’t remember which)an interview with an agent who basically said they’re an insurance policy in case the player becomes world class. Buy back clauses mean you can get the player back if you want, but just as importantly you can stop him strengthening a rival. Mo Salah & KdB spring to mind, let go by Chelsea, now world class & plying their trade with 2 of their rivals. In the extremely unlikely event that Tino or one of the others kicks on to that sort of level, going back to the selling club is already a done deal.
  8. At Altamont they provided the security……… for $500 worth of beer … 🤪 Ended up knocking out one of the Jefferson Airplane, stabbing Stephen Stills with a bike spoke, and famously stabbing a fan to death. Peace & love man.
  9. If you think players only choose Everton over us because of money, you’re deluded.
  10. My PoTM was Walker-Peters. Thought he was excellent early on and posed a real threat that side.
  11. Debating managers on a thread about the manager. There’s a thread at the top of the page where you can celebrate the game.
  12. I was merely pointing out to the poster who claimed that Ralph had dome “amazingly” by keeping us in this league, that Hughes had done the same. Keeping us in a league we’ve been in around 90% of the past 50 years isnt that great an achievement.
  13. Fucking hell, you’re blaming Hughes for that? We had 1 win in 17 and were 1 point off relegation when he took over, that was down to Peligrino how ever much you try and rewrite it.
  14. Mark Hughes joined us when we were in the shit,no money, and players who were underperforming. He kept us in the league, and got us to a semi final. It’s not really that much of an achievement. Admittedly, he didn’t have the “brilliant “ moments, but the lows weren’t quite as low as some of the thrashing and embarrassing performances under Ralph. I think it’s indisputable that we’ve had false dawns under him. It’s not negative, it’s pretty factual.
  15. His whole career at Saints is littered with false dawns, but fingers crossed it’s different this time. It’s very early days, but this group look different. Hats off to whoever identified the young players and fair play to Ralph for getting them playing so well. Maybe Ralph works better with hungry young players, but they all seem to have bought into his methods so far this season. Since the second half against Leeds there seems real desire and work rate amongst them. Long May it continue.
  16. I work in Bournemouth & Parker was not popular, he’s probably the least popular manager to get a side promoted since Fat Sam at West Ham.
  17. It’s just a shame Labour didn’t have over a decade and 3 large majorities to do something about it. It’s all Thatchers fault.
  18. Not unless you’ve personally seen him using.
  19. A bloke I know has emailed twice, once when we received the “behave or else” email from club and secondly with specific details of inconsistent stewarding during Leeds game. Both times he’s only received generic “thanks for your email” reply and nothing since.
  20. It’s a classic “Ow much, Ow much, 10 Grand? Fuck off. 5.
  21. Tony Currie was such a great player, criminally wasted by English football. We had fantastic players in the 70’s but it’s perceived as a bleak period in English football, but my bins and our record in The European cups tell me otherwise. Anyway, back on subject. Che Adams was my MoTM or PoTM.
  22. Fucking hell, “Southampton all or nothing” will be as boring as the last series of Line of duty. Bunch of son-in-laws mince about, top brass embrace wokery, and noddy fans wave their half and half scarves. Its a no from me.
  23. How are they getting on?
  24. Yeah, but we’ve got 2 of the fuckers. Liverpool are a class side, losing 9 to Leicester at home with 10 is just as bad as losing 9 at anfield with 11
  25. I was talking to a bloke I know on the train home who has season ticket in itchen north. He reckons there’s not only police, and stewards but they’ve now got private security company as well. Don’t know if true but that’s what he reckons. Also said he waited behind to talk to old bill yesterday, asking why there’s no consistency of stewarding between home and away fans. He claimed a female steward came over and said “you fucking lot stir the opposite side up”, before a male steward shut her up. The bloke asked why nothing was done about flares, when it was obvious who the culprit was and the copper said “we’ve got the best cctv in the country and we’ll get them later”. Bloke said “bullshit, you’ll do fuck all”. As he was leaving the steward who hushed the bird steward up said “you’re wasting your time mate, the club want that block cleaned out”. I know the bloke, not particularly well, but he’s always struck me as straight so I believed him.
