  1. The jokes wearing thin now. It’s gone on too long and he needs to be killed off. Peter Kay got the timing right with Brian Potter, Partridge is just the same old tune over and over again.
  2. It wasn’t particularly funny in the first place, but fuck me is Coogan milking it now. He’s become exactly what he allegedly takes the piss out of. Smug, corny, middle class twat, who thinks he’s still funny and edgy.
  3. I’ll tell you what is a fucking joke, this “you can’t leave a single ticket” pony. The ticket next to me is spare, but my lad couldn’t couldn’t buy it because the one next to that is also spare. WTF…..
  4. However, the big difference is they won the league & cup before hitting that wall. It’s probably the thing that pisses me off the most, not that we didn’t win the league (as that was a once in a generation thing) but that 2 fucking decent managers, with really really good players, we fucked up the cups badly. Poch & Koemans side could beat anyone on the day but we never really went full out in the cups. I know it’s not trendy, but it’s fucking frustrating for old cunts like me.
  5. I thought he should have gone in the summer. You’re right in one respect though, despite people claiming I’m constantly calling for his head, once the season started I’ve not been calling for his head, even after a pretty horrible start. Im sure the cult won’t, but the time to judge a managers performance in a season, is when you’ve played everyone twice. Let’s hope we’ve put the horrific tactical fuck ups to bed and continue with the consistent high standards of the past month. I’d love to see us make up for the lame semi final surrender by going one better this season. I’ll even allow him a little cry if we do.
  6. Although not at his best yesterday he still offers a physical presence and posed a threat to their defence. FF is kicking longer a lot more now which makes us less predictable, and the partnership between him & Adams looks like it’s growing. It’s obvious that staying for another season will be better for his career, but unfortunately other considerations trump that in football. Promising that his family seem to want what’s best (according to some posters), but I’ll believe it when I see it. If managers hung around longer, Tuchel would want him settled learning his trade elsewhere before returning in 2 or 3 years a fully rounded top 6 player. However, he won’t give a shiny shite about anything other than next season. If that means giving The family a load of old pony about his place in the set up, he’ll do it. If he continues as he has been this season, he may become an option off the bench for them next. If that’s the case The family will probably decide that’s “best” for him.
  7. Exactly. The cult were so named because in their eyes he could do no wrong. Even when he admitted he had, they still refused to see it. Ralph was f**king woeful last season but a small slice of humble pie need to be eaten, because nobody really thought he could change tactically. The antis didn’t and I don’t recall too many of the cult saying he needed to change tactics, they were actually happy with his tactics last season. He’s shown a lot more flexibility this season and we’re a lot harder to beat, exactly what we were calling for. Personally I thought he was a one trick pony, he’s shown lately he isn’t. Long May it continue. As for the general running of the club, as you’ve pointed out the club wanted to keep Vesty, & Ings (not so sure about Bertrand) so this isn’t some sort of plan that’s suddenly all come together. Broja has made a massive difference to how we can play, so let’s hope there’s a plan in place for next season because Armstrong just doesn’t offer us the same options.
  8. The person people who will never vote Tory want to be Tory leader. I work in his constituency, he’s basically a Lib Dem with a military background who loves publicly, bit like rory Stewart really. What ever happened to him?
  9. Gone downhill imo, we’ve moved to Cricketers or London Rd tavern instead. Used to love The Alex, real decent pint of Landlord.
  10. Why’s he not got the Labour whip, surely a man with backbone & a moral compass is needed . This is what the Jewish leadership council think. Of course Jews are at the bottom of the victim table, so don’t really count. When Jews complain about an obviously antisemitic mural in Tower Hamlets, Corbyn of course supports the artist. Hizbollah commits terrorist atrocities against Jews, but Corbyn calls them his friends and attends pro-Hizbollah rallies in London. Exactly the same goes for Hamas. Raed Salah says Jews kill Christian children to drink their blood. Corbyn opposes his extradition and invites him for tea at the House of Commons. These are not the only cases. He is repeatedly found alongside people with blatantly antisemitic views, but claims never to hear or read them.Again and again, Jeremy Corbyn has sided with antisemites rather than Jews.
  11. His politics are nearer yours than mine. He’s a soppy pinko , bit like you really. You’re right for once, there is “little surprise” how I voted, anyone who wanted Brexit had no other choice.
  12. 😂 He’s an anti Semitic, terrorist loving half wit. He’s even been chucked out of the Parliamentry party he’s so beyond the pale. No surprise you think he’s got a “moral compass”, says a lot about you. The reason Boris got an 80 seat majority wasn’t down to his probity and standards of behaviour, it was because the alternative was Steptoe. The voters knew exactly who and what Boris was, the problem for you was they also knew exactly who and what Corbyn was.
  13. Fat Sam was using data, analytics and statistics last century, so it’s not quite as modern as the hipsters think.
  14. That wasn’t the debate. The debate was who had the “higher ceiling” 😂
  15. Bollocks. It’s obvious which one had the “higher ceiling”, it’s laughable that anyone thought otherwise. Let alone all these people who watched them regularly.
  16. What f**king “evidence”?
  17. FFS it’s not hard. If the Lino thinks it’s offside he doesn’t raise his flag until the goal opportunity has gone, or the defending side have control of the ball. It’s the same as advantage, if they then give the ball away, that’s their fault. You claimed they never go back to the offside. That’s complete pony. Broja was offside Sat, the Lino thought he was offside. Had the keeper saved his shot by tipping it round the post (instead of it going in), there wouldn’t have been a corner, they’d have gone back to the offside . They do that every single time.
  18. Data 😂 Load of old pony.
  19. It has. Time and time again Lino’s put the flag up once they know the move won’t result in a goal. If the defensive side have control of the ball, they don’t go back to the offside. However, if the attacking side have the ball, they do. You’re talking pony if you think the Lino thinks it’s offside and they then subsequently allow a corner. It doesn’t happen.
  20. It does. As soon as the goal threat is over the Lino puts his flag up if he thought it was offside.
  21. It does my f**king head in. The moaning from pundits about “late flags” and stopping the game. If Lino’s don’t keep their flags down and allow play to continue then VAR will only rule out goals the officials thought were onside , it won’t allow goals where officials thought it was offside.
  22. Broja makes a difference and gives him more flexibility, OR was a big big loss second half of season and he had a centre half with the turning circle of an oil tanker. But good management is fitting what you have into their best system, not putting them into your preferred system if they’re not a fit. There were some appalling tactical f**k ups last season, (the spurs home game being one of the most inept I’ve ever seen), and some weird selections/substitutions. I don’t think he got the best out of the poor hand he was dealt. I also had an issue with the mentality at the club, the softness and lack of fight. One knock back and we collapsed. It’s probably the hardest area to adjust, and I’m surprised how far we’ve come on that front. Let’s hope it continues for the rest of the season,
  23. Clearly not as good as Bertrand at his best, but far far better than the half arsed Bertrand we saw most of last season.
