  1. Australia isn’t a republic. Their “constitutional apparatus “ is in fact a Constitutional monarchy, like………The UK.
  2. If they get rid of the pony “we march on” mantra, they’ll do for me.
  3. His managerial record is better than Xavi‘s, so on the Twar managerial spreadsheet he should have got the job.
  4. Because Ole got the job on the back of his managerial record and not his playing career 🤪🤪 If Potter rocks up at OT this summer there’s going to me mayhem, Moyes couldn’t make it work and his record at Everton was far superior to Potters. I hope to god people like you aren’t running our club, if they are I’m in the Ralph cult. I dread to think who your replacement will be if he left, Ben Strevens probably.
  5. Good point well made, which is exactly why I listed them in the post you replied to. Which clubs would swap their present manager for a bloke who you’re surprised isn’t at a top club? Excluding Norwich & Watford who are in the bottom 3? Everton fans probably would ,which just emphasises your lack of judgement when it comes to managers. The only fans that “might” want him, and support a club slightly bigger than Brighton, want to ditch the manager that has impressed you this season……🤪
  6. Laughable. The supporters of every club you’ve named would be in uproar if Graham Potter was appointed instead of their present incumbent. Which clubs in the league would swap their manager for Graham Potter. Watford maybe, Everton (although Rafa’s impressed you), Norwich perhaps, who else would take Potter instead of the manager they’ve got. The thought that Manchester Utd would have him is delusional, it’s real life not a frigging computer game.
  7. Antonio Rüdiger
  8. Covid wise there will be, I doubt any club would falsify Covid results. What can they do? Get somebody who has Covid to take the test for somebody that hasn’t. However, that’s a dangerous route to go down, particularly if the bloke pretending the test is his, then catches it. I’d imagine a conversation along the lines “You know shelvey had Covid 3 weeks ago, well he’s gone and got it again”, wouldn’t go down particularly well with the league. Id have thought during conversations with the Gov or PHE, reporting accurately Covid numbers would figure quite high up. The only falsification they can really get away with is non vaccinated players being in contact with positive people. That’s pretty hard to disprove. I guess the issue is with injuries, but they’re really subjective. The tears and pulls are easy to prove, but knocks and slight strains pretty impossible because players will play through them. How can a doctor tell someone with a “knock” he’s fit to play, If he says he isn’t?
  9. Did they postpone a load of games before doing that, or was that rule in place from the start? The league made a rod for their own back by postponing games a couple of weeks ago. Had they said then that teams had to play regardless of numbers, then they could insist Newcastle do this time. The sure fire way to a court case is allowing Brentford to postpone, but not allowing Newcastle to.
  10. The way things are going there’s going to be 30 odd games postponed, good luck with proving this one was any different than any other.
  11. This is just not true. The league rules state the club need to supply “Supporting medical information to verify the status of each unavailable player, which will be reviewed by the League’s medical advisers”. Their website also states that not having 13 players is only 1 reason applications are accepted, they state that games have also been postponed recently for other reasons including, “Where the status of a COVID-19 outbreak within a club’s squad remains unclear very close to a match. For example, where there remains a concern that not all COVID-19 infections have been identified and there is insufficient time to resolve that concern before kick-off. - Where the club does not have sufficient time to safely prepare its players in the lead up to a match. For example, where the UK Health Security Agency has requested the closure of a training ground and suspension of group training following an outbreak during the preparation period ahead of a match.” Just calling people cunts without know the full reasons for the postponement, without knowing what evidence has been presented and what checks were made is pretty ignorant imo.
  12. Dear god. There were different rules in place last season, and 20 odd games hadn’t already been postponed. It is not “cheating” to request a postponement, they haven’t cheated anymore than Brentford cheated when they requested a postponement. Posters anger is aimed in the wrong direction, once the league started allowing postponements teams will request them.
  13. Ralph grasped it, he admitted he made a mistake. He agreed with us, it was the wrong formation for that game. What more evidence do you need that you’re wrong, when the bloke who decided the tactics held his hand up. #cult
  14. Not at all. The criticism was about playing it away at Liverpool, with people pointing out that it may not be the best idea to try something new up there. Nobody criticised the principle of getting away from his obsession with 4-2-2-2, just the timing. Matching up spurs at home, is entirely different to doing so at Anfield. Anyway he himself said is was a mistake, so is Ralph also fickle?
  15. That’s exactly how I saw it. Do people really believe lurch has come across a new tactic, like getting the ball into the corners and shielding it, we’ll now see goalkeepers aiming for touch whilst a team is hanging on. Revolutionary tactics!!!! Perhaps the people who claim it was deliberate can explain why he didn’t boot it further into the stands as opposed to it only just going.Hell, he should have launched it over the Kingsland.
  16. Would they be some keen to play if they had Watford at home as opposed to Utd away. Anyway, I’m sure their supporters will be delighted with their “integrity” seeing as their 3 down after 35 mins.
  17. There’s nothing racist about it at all. If the Euros were played during our season and as a result European players missed domestic games, the moaning would be exactly the same. Some chumps see racism everywhere.
  18. That’s where you’re wrong. Kat was a bit of a minger, but I thought she was a really decent owner. I’d take another one of her in a heartbeat. I’d be wary of a fit filly to be honest, as it shouldn’t be about looks. The best female boss I ever had looked like a gypsy’s dog, but she didn’t half inspire people to work for her.
  19. Why wa$ chel$ea match not po$tponed, when they reque$ted it?
  20. So the league were right in not allowing them to postpone game. Amazing how Newcastle can pull the wool over their eyes, but not Chelsea 😂
  21. What makes you think that’s not the case? The league refused Chelsea, allowed Brentford, how does that fit with the “big club bias”. I’d imagine they’ve looked at Newcastle’s case in exactly the same basis as they looked at those 2. As I said, there’s been nearly 20 call offs so far, I doubt there’s much difference between any of them. It’s certainly not a conspiracy or a big club bias.
  22. Nice man, pretty average first team manager. Cheap option who only got the job on the back of his excellent work with the nippers.
  23. Only 50%? Where i was it looked more like only 25%. Even saw a number of stewards not really wearing them (tucked under their chins).
