Or money used to increase wages & extend contracts of important players, which is what happened last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

McQueen needs a run of games before being written off. The club/Puel seem to have made the right choices in terms of devolving Stephens, who is to say they won't do the same with McQueen. And before anyone starts, I'm not saying he's better than Bertrand or we won't miss Bertrand, just that the club have proved time & time again that they know what they're doing. They've earns the benefit of the doubt as far as I'm concerned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here's an inefficiency for you and is an absolute fact. My friends wife is a midwife . They have 2 contracts in Poole an NHS one ( x amount of hours per week) or a bank one, where you tell them how many hours you want to work and when you're available each week. Basically a zero hours one, god forbid. Most on bank are perfectly happy to do so and don't want to bee on set hours( unless Steptoe bans them). When they don't have enough midwives to cover the shifts , they do one of two things, get an agency in or give OT to the NHS midwives. Because agency costs are so high they've started offering OT at double time when they still can't fill the gaps, as it's cheaper. The upshot of this is that none of the midwives now volunteer for OT because they know if they wait that it'll be offered at double time. My mates mrs works 3 shifts a week but the past 2 months has been doing 2 shifts extra at double time. The bank midwives are now not volunteering for as many shifts, causing more gaps, but when the double time comes out, they're suddenly available.Complete & utter mismanagement that is costing the tax payer a fortune. There is no end in sight because they won't take on any more NHS contracts & the staff are fully aware that if they hold out they'll get paid double time. I can't think of one private company I've worked for that would let staff costs get out of hand like this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To try and claim the French system is similar to the NHS is nonsense. It's clearly nearer than it is to the American system I'll grant you that. But major elements of it are unacceptable to the idiots on the left in this country. If the Tories proposed the exact same service & guaranteed the exact same funding, leftie mugs would go nuts. They'd go the full monty, marches, protests the lot. God knows what luvvies like Church, Linekar & Lilly Allen would do, emigrate probably (hopefully), perhaps to that caring ,compassionate Tory free country France . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's the system in France, not just the money. You pay to see a Doctor, imagine the fit you lefties would have if that was purposed here. There are profit making organisations involved , again you leftie dinosaurs don't want that, people can top up their cover by buying from private insurers, god forbid that being allowed in "our NHS". Unless it's changed markably since I used it, it's nothing like the "envy of the world" 1950's service we have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No a better comparison would be France, Spain or Germany. Why is it always USA. There are far better health systems than American & far better systems than a 1950's throwback model Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Liverpool 0-0 Saints - Match & Reactions Thread
Lord Duckhunter replied to Heisenberg's topic in The Saints
Last season was an utter embarrassment, we didn't score for 7 games running. Everton, Watford, WBA ,Stoke, Palace, Norwich & Boscombe. Obviously we scored in the games between those fixtures , but I'm not counting them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I've said all along and I'll say it again. In terms of away performances this season has been every bit as good as either of Koemans. Where we're not so good is the barnstorming home performances that Koemans oversaw. However if you look at those, most of them were as a result of Mane playing brilliantly. You've seen how much Liverpool have missed him, despite having some other fantastic players, so it's pretty obvious we're going to miss him. I agree, he set out to get a point, we were successful at getting a point but because I don't like him I'll find something to moan about. I'd have taken a point at the start of the game, but now we've actually got one I'm not happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I'm hoping it'll make 2 clear commitments . One that we're coming out of both the single market & the customs union . And two, parliament will be given a vote consisting of The deal or no deal. I'm sick of remoaners banging on about her lack of mandate in these areas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

5. We have a 1950's system that is unfit for the 21st century, but no political party have the balls to do anything about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That wasn't the story when I posted, it was very early in the count The funny thing about people celebrating their demise is they haven't seemed to have grasped why. It's not because their ideas were defeated, that their arguments were shown up, their ideas were discredited or that public opinion turned against their main policy. It was because they won the argument, their very reason to exist, even their name was about Britain leaving the EU. Personally I thought there was an opportunity for them to make headway in certain areas but the Tories are hoovering up votes even in these areas. A mixture of abandoned principles , chaotic leadership & Nigel stepping down has handed these voters to The Tories on a plate . Unless May ****s up Brexit they're finished. We are not a laughing stock , not to the media, not to pundits & not to other supporters , although if they read some of the posts on here, we may start to become one. Lack of ambition is just a pony phrase that gets trotted out (pun intended) time & time again. I have plenty of ambition for the club, and I suggest that the club have plenty of ambition , but it's realistic ambition. Our 5 year plan was incredibly ambitious when we were in league 1 at -10. I don't know what our ambition is now , but suggest it will be top 10 finishes every season & challenging for Europe, whether in cup or league , season after season. For a club our size that's pretty ambitious imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How many other clubs are there where the owner passes the managerial appointment to a DoF. Did Cortese leave it to Reed? History has told us that new owners bring in a new manager eventually. The Glasers didn't, but they inherited a pretty decent one. Personally, it wouldnt surprise me if Reed left as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

People seem to be ignoring the ****ing big elephant in the room, the takeover. New owners invariably want their own man in, so chances are he'll be gone after that anyway. I can't see the present board moving him on whilst any takeover is in the offing ,unless it's with the express agreement of potential new owners. If not, who would want the job knowing that they'll have new bosses soon, bosses that would want their own man in. If the takeovers coming along the line , I doubt Puels going anywhere before then Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
