Correct. Greece is a net beneficiary of EU money, we're a contributor. It's entirely different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's not some sort of debating society,it's breakfast TV. When asked the answer is yes. It's not as if there's going to be any come back. If anyone nukes us the last thing on people's minds is Ashworth or Abbotts answer to Piers ****ing Morgan. They are complete & utter amateurs, who are unable to connect with the electorate. **** sake have we got another 2 years of remoaners accepting every thing the EU say as gospel & gleefully jumping on every leak claiming it weakens mrs Mays hand. Here are some simple truths. **** all is going to happen until the French & German elections are over. The EU are going to leak like a sieve and everything they leak will be pro EU & Anti British. The EU face a massive hole in their budget when we leave. Don't the EU realise the more they spin & brief how hard and complicated a deal will be,the more this plays right into Mays narrative in this election. What do they think, the harder a deal looks, the more the public will call for Steptoe to do the deal. Are they trying to increase May's majority even further or are they just incompetent fools. Had VvD not missed 2 absolute sitters & JRod missed countless chances we'd have qualified easily. Still can't blame VvD on here, so it must have been Puels fault he missed them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You've got to wonder who on earth is advising these clowns at Labour HQ. Ashworth is one of the more sensible ones, but even he seems incapable of answering yes and shutting down the debate. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XuLJ3jXBScM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's great that you know what Theresa May thinks, perhaps you could let us know how she thinks the election is going. She's not Diane Abbott, I'm sure she's completely aware that trade deals need some kind of court. Perhaps you could point us to any quotes where she says there won't be one. What I don't understand is the complete and utter **** wittery of not even having prepared for the most obvious question , "how much will it cost". What a bunch of amateurs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And it's probably the thing that winds me up the most, that and "he's got no plan B". The reason a lot of modern managers don't leave anyone up front is this; If you leave 1 or 2 upfront or even 3, the opposition counter it by adding 1 extra. Theses defenders are in a defensive structure. If you leave nobody up front you obviously have more defending (admittedly against more attackers, because they don't need to stay back and defend), but the idea is when you break, you break from all angles and areas, it's harder to defend the counter attack when players don't start in set positions and you don't know who you're picking up.Its not about being defensive only but about being defensive but being able to break quickly and randomly. Take the Liverpool away goal, would Simms & Long been able to break so effectively and would Liverpool's defending been so stretched had they stood on the halfway line and been marked by 3 Liverpool players. That is the theory. Some managers prefer this and some prefer to leave players upfront, that's down to personal opinion. But what winds me up is people asking why nobody is left upfront, when it's ****ing obvious why.

This is spot on. Various measures supposed to help the poor actually shackle them to low wages. WFTC's being a prime example & so is the minimum wage. Instead of wages reflecting the value of people's work ,tax credits plus unlimited low skilled immigration have conspired to keep the low paid workers wages down. I have minimum wage blokes working for me who have turned down OT & promotions because they just lose the extra money off their benefits and there's no point in me offering higher wages to attract people from other employers, because everybody is on roughly the same money. The minimum wage isn't a minimum, it's a benchmark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What part of my post where I said Poch was clearly a better manager did you not understand. You just ignored it because it didn't suit your agenda. The point I was making was if Poch, a better manager, could only get a group of better players to 8th, why on earth do people think Puel can do as well with this bunch. Perhaps you think Poch underachieved. But if you think he did a great or good job with that group, judge Puel against that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm with you mate. Taxes are way too high & need to come down. Modern politicians seem incapable of understanding that lower tax can lead to higher tax take. They're obsessed with rates rather than tax take. Who gives a **** if the rich only pay 40% if it brings in more money. As for welfare the problem is that it's spread too thinly. The deserving poor don't get enough money because the pot is too small. The pot is too small, not because there's not enough money in it, but because too many people are taking out of it. And we haven't had VvD or Austin since Jan. If you took VvD, Mane , Pelle & Vic out of Koeman's side from Jan till end of season do people seriously think we'd have finished 6th. Puel has been given the worst group of players since Nigel Adkins and surprise surprise he's lower in the table. Personally I think 10th with this group plus a cup final is every bit as good as 8th and no cup final with Poch's side. I actually seem to remember the Sunderland meltdown thread where people complained about him concentrating on the league and expressing the opinion that they'd rather drop a couple of places in exchange for a cup run. That was obviously pony. If people think this season is unacceptable, they're going to have years and years of upset. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I heard a journo on the radio talking about Hull's transfer dealings in Jan and hinted about his relationship with Jorge Mendes . Harry Redknapp-Willie McKay came to mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They won't because there is no response to it. With this group of players he's doing a decent job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking through the posts on here & other threads the consensus seems to be that Poch is a fantastic manager, one of the best around. His first full season in English football he had playing in his side . Artur B, Shaw, Lovren , Clyne , Morgan , Big Vic, Lallana , pre injury JRod & Rickie . How many of them wouldn't walk into our present side? Bertrand ahead of Shaw maybe and possibly Gabbi over Rickie ( although personally I wouldn't ). I think it's pretty unarguably the fact that the others are far better than we've got now. So with one of the present games top managers who already had half a season in English football, with a group of players far superior than Puel has, where did we finish ....8th , that's where. Plus a pathetic cup exit at Sunderland I point this out not to compare Poch with Puel as there's clearly no comparison, but to add a bit of realism to the debate. Some people's expectations are way too high. If Poch with that squad could only manage 8th, realistically why does this season come as a surprise to anyone.? If 8th with that group was great, why is 10th or 11th with a cup final suddenly manager out territory. We could even still finish 8th, as we sit 9th . Which of course is only 1 place below the great season Poch had. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you really believe Yoshida hasn't improved, just played? So if Puel takes someone out of the reserves and makes them a better player, it's not down to him? Bloke can't win, can he? What about OR, nobody can claim he hasn't played better this season. Oh no, it's not that is it, he's just played. Again bloke can't win, can he? As for Tadic's assists, we don't have Pelle or Mane finishing, so clearly the stats will be misleading. Why was he substituted so often last season? Personally I don't think his form is any different to last season, he just had better players around him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Which players? Long had a purple patch last season, but has reverted back to his normal form. Forster has always been bang average but with Vic, Morgan and the better centre halves was protected somewhat. Maybe Bertrand, but certainly not Cedric, remember Cuco the clown got the nod over him at times. So who are these players that "were much more effective under previous managers", could you name them for me. Because OR, Yoshida, JWP & Stephens have improved under Puel. Davo is pretty much the same as is Tadic. Name names. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
