Course you can't . Bloke critical of torys for taking donations from Mayfair Hedge Funds, then takes a donation from Mayfair Hedge fund boss. Absolutely no double standards there at all. Sir Alistair Graham ex chairman of standards committee disagrees with your view. He said this morning that they were open to charges of hypocrisy over the receipt and also the declaration of the donation. Personally I couldn't give a monkeys who donates to whom, but once you're critical of your opponent for receiving money from a particular sector , its a bit rich to do so yourself.

I think the accused should not be named, until charged , as a matter of course, however the police can apply to a judge to relax this . If plod feel that they have compelling evidence that naming the accused will bring forward other victims , then its up to them to persuade the judge of the case to do so. At present they seem to be conducting fishing expeditions and leaving people on bail for unacceptable lengths of time.

Don't want to get into a private / public debate , but historically the public sector was more secure. I'm not sure if that's the case now, but its a fact that the pension provisions are better overall. My Mrs is a midwife and its a joke that I earn twice as much as her basically managing 35 minimum wage people. However, where does it end. I've no doubt the police, fireman, nurses, teachers, midwives, are underpaid , but realistically we can't afford to give them all a pay rise.

Just seen a piece from Richard Keys and despite being a bit of a twt , he can up with what I thought was a brilliant idea. Whoever is fouled in the box has to take the penalty. He got the idea from watching Newcastle and Warren Barton was through on goal could have stayed on his feet and shot but went down. He asked Barton about it later who basically said Shearer from 10 yards would bury it more times than Barton from 7 yards . Keys claims that a lot of players will stay on their feet , rather than take a penalty. After all the goal scoring opportunity denied was warren Barton's not Alan Shearer's. Hand ball would be your designated taker and there would obviously be an issue if the player claimed they were injured.
