  1. After the World Cup I don't think we would stand a chance of the last name on that list. If he stays free of injury I think he will have a very good World Cup.

  5. Think you’re all taking Fan the Flames post too literally, its a sarcastic comment aimed at those criticising our support last weekend.
  6. Just listened to it, Blackmore seems fairly sure Les Reed will be leaving in the Summer.

To be honest I thought the atmosphere was ok yesterday, we seemed to create a bit of noise in the second half. It looked to me like most were standing behind the goal. It is possible to sing whilst being seated by the way.
  8. Agree with the above posts. Last year we lost in the League Cup Final but that equaliser from Gabbi and the ten minutes after will live with me for the rest of my days.
  9. I think he can read alright, your post was nonsense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Not working for me, loads but then freezes straight away.
  11. Superb second half performance, we made them look like a League 1 team.
  12. Did he feign injury when the waitress dropped a spoon in his lap? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. And he thinks everyone is his 'pal'.
  14. Such a shame that once again you state opinion as fact. I really enjoyed Derek especially the first series, a very different sort of comedy.
  15. At least we can agree on what a brilliant sketch that was.
  16. That's not an argument, it's contradiction:D.
  17. Your correct, I apologize to Alpine for my words. I do however feel that the possibility of him being a cretin is slightly less fanciful than that of the club deliberately attempting to be one of the worst run clubs or deliberately trying to get relegated.
  18. You're like the bloke in the Monty Python sketch looking for an argument.
  19. Read the article on TUI, you might learn something.
  20. Once again, I don't disagree. We can all easily say in hindsight that he should have been sacked earlier. However the whole point of my post was that it is not deliberate and the situation we are in does not mean we are a badly run club.
  21. I don't disagree but clearly the board wanted to give MP as long as possible to turn things round, another mistake. This is a good article on TUI: https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/news/47715/who-is-who-in-the-blame-list-at-st-marys
  22. No, of course not. Are you deliberately a cretin? The board have made a poor managerial appointment, this has nothing to with how well the club is run. A well run club can make mistakes.
  23. Pointless thread (although I'll contribute anyway) with many pointless and vitriolic comments, would you say them to his face? I doubt any of you have met him so how can you comment? He was no doubt a decent man who has tried his hardest to make it work but failed, that doesn't make him a clown or a c*nt. IMO the toughest decision to be made in football is appointing a manager. When you buy a player you have a reasonable idea of how it will turn out but a manager is different. Who'd have thought Dyche would be such a good appointment for Burnley and who expected Carvalhal (sp) to have turned it round at Swansea. The board have had to make a number of appointments over the past few years, some they have got right such as Adkins, Poch and Koeman, this one they got wrong. I just hope they get the next one right.

  25. I doubt it will make any difference to be honest.
