  1. Someone has posted the same on TUI, and no it's not Patred.
  2. After reading a thread/arcticle like this I always wonder what is happening about the redevelopment of Staplewood, has it started yet? When complete 'one of the finest academies in the country' will be even better.
  3. We are probably 'interested' in both and are keeping our options open. If things don't work out with one then we go ahead with the other.
  4. Season Ticket?
  5. I asked a similar question the other day, I ended up with Brian Moore and the Tony Cascarino one above. I would have gone for Bobby Robson but it was unavailable in paperback. I would reccomend All Played Out by Pete Davies, it's all about a fans perspective of Italia '90, a great read. Have a good holiday, I'm off myself on Tuesday, it will be nice to get out of the country for a couple of weeks.
  6. Ah, but there's more to come Alps.
  7. That's right the Socialists make a complete balls-up and leave it for others to clear up. Sorry, I am no fan of the far right but the socialist economic and social policies have done enormous harm to this country.
  8. Agree with this article: http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/katharinebirbalsingh/100100161/no-wonder-these-kids-think-stealing-trainers-is-ok-everyone-makes-excuses-for-them/
  9. I've got a semi!
  10. As I was typing (knowing full well it's his 18th birthday in a few days) I thought MLG would correct me, now you've gone and spoilt it you b*stard.
  11. It would certainly not be the end of the world if AOC left, far from it. However I do feel it will be a shame, not only for the club but for him aswell. He's only 18 FFS, he'll hardly get a kick playing for Arsenal, but could have one or two more good seasons in the NPC.
  12. Brilliant, shall we just call him 'Tippex'?
  13. What cracks me up is when he thinks he's won an argument he politely asks his opponent to apologise. Sometimes he even invites them for a face to face discussion, with that slightly sinister hint of violence. Of course I knew when I had really arrived on the forum when he called me a retard. Turks, I assume you and Del Bianco are one and the same?
  14. He seems to have an incredibly high opinion of himself. I think most people just laugh at him. The only reason we didn't want to see hime leave this forum was down to the entertainment value.
  15. I'm a raving homosexual and I just love it!
  16. Some great tips there, thanks guys. I have read the Tony Adams book and agree it is a good read.
  17. Thanks guys. The best football book I've ever read was not a biography but a detailed account of Italia '90, 'All Played' Out by Pete Davies.
  18. I'm off on holiday in a couple of weeks time and although I'm not a great one for reading I do like to read a sports biography or two when I'm away. Are there any you would recommend, interested sports would be Football (of course), Cricket, Golf & Rugby. I have read the MLT and Strachan autobiograhies. Doesn't have to be a biography.
  19. ...for the Leeds game. He's bang in form at the moment, carrying on where he left off last season. When fit he's a class act. Three goals in three halves so far in pre-season. It's good to see so much competition for places throughout the squad, we seem to be able to put out two decent teams.
  20. Shame we're not playing MK Dons this season then.
  21. Big, strong girl your missus is she?
  22. Interestingly, this is the reason why I am not interested in buying a season ticket. I much prefer to sit in different parts of the stadium.
  23. Agreed, but it would be nice if Mike could give us all some sort of update. It's not long to the first game of the season.
  24. He's a massive Saints fan. A mate of mine knows him through Josh McQuoid and told me how he couldn't believe how excited Vokes was about Saints playing at Wembley in the JPT.
  25. Operations Manager for an Electronics company.
