From Patred on TUI: "Between us and Norwich City.. Apparentley we have 'enquired' about two of their players. Chris Martins and Owain Tudor Jones,.. Norwich are interested in Jason Puncheon ! " Chris Martin anyone?

I'd be quite happy to see an obnoxious little **** scoring shedloads of goals for Saints, but those rumours if true would be a worry.
-
One word, 'Austin'.
-
It's ok you're not going mad, I saw it too.

Ask him what the f**k is wrong with lambert.

Remember this is a squad inherited by Adkins. I hope he has a number of potential signings in January, maybe he will make a raid on Scunny. Personally I think it may be time to say a thank you and goodbye to Morgan, Guly and Jaidi. We need another CB, CM and a quality CF (Austin maybe?), also a pacy wide palyer. It's time to drop Ricky I'm afraid. The best thing about yesterday's game was the 10 minute chant in the second half, a shame the players didn't respond.

Ask him if he has considered anger management.

From TUI: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/fb_mb.php?m=v&t=13320#13 'I have now deleted the thread about David luker our former ticket office manager and supporter liason person. Having spoken to him this morning, whilst he is touched by the kind words spoken by many, he has asked me to remove the thread so that various allegations mentioned by some posters cannot be misconstrued. He has also asked me to point out that he left his post at SFC of his own free will and accord for another position. I would ask that we all respect his wishes and do not comment or speculate further on the reasons why he has departed. It is good to see that David has behaved on leaving as he did when at the club in a professional and courteous manner without feeling the need to get involved in personal sniping etc Good luck to him wherever his new job may be' It's good to see our old friend Stu acting like a complete bell-end over there. It appears that it was due to Stu's rants that David Luker found it necessary to contact TUI.

But isn't the point that YOU won't have to put them through University, but they will pay for it themselves if and when they start earning enough to do so.

They were worried he'd pick a fight with one of the patients!

Charlie Austin. I'm not ITK but I have a hunch that he'll be a Saints player in January. Remember last year when Cortese said "Charlie Austin should be playing for us".
-
It probably won't be 'news' as such, just an interview with NC where he may shed a bit of light on a number of issues. I very much look forward to reading it, Dan Roan is a very good journalist IMO. And of course we'll be expecting a full report from Spudgun tonight too!

Paul Hart sounds like a nice guy!

Turkish, just reading your other thread, perhaps I'm one of those parents who is too soft.

I'm not questioning homework itself, only the amount of it which to me seems too high for an eleven year old and far more than I got at her age IIRC. I do agree with what you say though because although my daughter is very bright she does have issues with each of those points.
-
My daughter started Secondary school back in September and she's doing very well. However, what has amazed me is the amount of homework she gets. This week she has had 16 separate pieces of work to do. Even these past couple of days with the school closed the teachers have posted homework for the kids on the school website. Today she has even been given homework for Drama and PE FFS, I kid you not. Ok, the PE homework is to make a poster detailing 10 rules of football so I'll enjoy helping her out with it, but all of this distracts from the important core subjects. Any teachers out there willing to explain themselves?

He's not a Saints fan, Newcastle fan I believe. My mate is one of his two uncles who use to take him to Saints a lot when he was younger. Sam Vokes is a massive Saints fan, my mate was telling me how funny it was seeing a pro footballer getting so excited about Saints going to Wembley last year.

El-Abd's Injury from the Brighton Game - Not for Faint Hearted!

Dutch Gunderson: Who are you and how did you get in here? Frank Drebin: I'm a locksmith. And, I'm a locksmith. After seeing Airplane I couldn't watch The Poseidon Adventures without laughing.

Yes, but isn't the point of most chants to wind up the opposition. The fact that most Brighton fans are hetero means that it annoys them all the more. On the subject of chants my favourite was the 'wotsit' one aimed at Dean Lewington from Franchise FC.
-
Am I the only one that still finds them funny? Does that make me homophobic? I think they are harmless fun, unlike racist chants which are offensive and a big no no.

Went to the game on Saturday with my Middlesborough supporting mate. I said to him that Puncheon would score against them. Have to say that Holmes was excellent when he came on.
-
I wrote him a love letter, does that count? Didn't get a reply though.
-
No, Lallana can go right wing, Dickson or Holmes left. Sorry, but much as I feel sorry for Puncheon as I hate to see any player get booed, he simply has not been performing this season. Even last season I felt he was a 'luxury' player, clearly talented but so often failing to deliver.
