  1. No, you are stating an opinion, not facts and therefore it does come across as arrogant. I happen to share your 'opinion' but it is just that an opinion.
  2. Josh McQuoid joined Millwall ahead of us and he is really local (Lymington), apparently Millwall offered a better financial package than us. Can't believe Austin would choose us over the others but you never know.
  3. Looks like all NL's comments have been deleted. Briefly what did he say?
  4. Shawshank Goodfellas Life of Brian
  5. This is what I call an Alpine day. We are still well in contention, I think it will be tight all the way to the end of the season. Will NC get the cheque book out now?
  6. I'm praying we go up automatically and not via the play-offs. I'll be in New York on the day of the final, would rather not have that trip spoilt by footie tension.
  7. Common concensus appears to be Plasma, either Panasonic or LG. Take a look at AVForums, always very helpful. I'm no expert though, I've still got a CRT!!!
  8. I sung it for the first time last Saturday, I think that's what clinched it. There's no need to thank me.

  10. It was more of a dig at the Beeb than you TBH.
  11. Strange how when a header is cleared off the line (from Fonte) it's not counted as an attempt on target?
  12. Can't book MU tickets online this morning (no option for this game) and 'all our lines are busy' on the TO line. Bummer!
  13. Yeah but for us or Millwall. He had a great chnace in the first half but blazed it over.
  14. The distribution from Kelvin and the two full-backs today was woeful. Long balls overhit or simply hoofed up to Lambert who won nothing all day. I just wish we would play the ball to feet more. These injuries are a big worry.
  15. I suppose we've had worse days!
  16. Is this correct?, I thought Poopey only had an allocation of 3200 last season (10%). I would hate to see the whole of the Northam for Manc b*astards.
  17. But Alps, it's the fact that you are so consistently negative that puts peoples backs up and that is why they bite. Don't get me wrong, I do understand where you are coming from. After all the last few years of pain and disappointment you always fear the worst and therefore don't want to build your hopes up. I often do the same but I keep those negative thoughts to myself and certainly don't post them on this forum.
  18. I wish I was, love it there.
  19. I'd like to see Puncheon play tomorrow. Let's face it, we need back up to Oxo & Lallana, especially Oxo who struggles to play 90 mins. Here's a guy who has scored 5 in 7 games (I think) and is playing well in the NPC. If he can recreate that form again for us then great. To dismiss him just because he had a poor run of form and had a bit of a run in (allegedly) with the coach is ludicrous IMO.
  20. I was lucky enough to take my daughter to her first game as a hospitality guest. She was 7 at the time and loved it, more for the food than the football. She does come with me to the odd game but only at the start and end of the season as she refuses to go in the cold weather.
  21. Since NA took over: P17 W10 D3 L4 F32 A15 Pts33 Nearly 2pts per game which is automatic promotion form.
  22. It's looking good: http://www.cafctv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10267~2250744,00.html
  23. This is the point I was making earlier. I normally vote Tory but in the first elction after Blair got to power I voted Labour as I thought he was doing a decent job. Yes, I felt dirty and the need to have a bloody good shower afterwards but the deed was done. I wanted them to do well in government because that would have been good for the nation. As it turns out they completely ****ed things up but I take no pleasure in that.
  24. Can I just ask when did it become acceptable for the press instead of just reporting the news to begin creating the news by setting people up. Cable was incredibly naive to say hat he did but he was clearly just showing off to a couple of young ladies. But what good has this done for the government and therefore the country? Ironically, what good has it done for the Telegraph as it seems clear now that Murdoch will get his way. I don't care whether it's Tory, Labour or whatever coalition of government, once they are in power I want them to get on with the job without the press trying to bring them down. The press in this country are a f****** disgrace.
