  1. We should get him to write for us. Looks like he's got writer's block
  2. It looks like their new owner's sphincters can't take much more, and they've just moved up to DESPCON 2 They know they can't carry their overheads in the bottom half of League 2, the home gates are on a downward slope. If they lose to Rochdale tomorrow it's sh*t or bust time for them. They just put their kid's college fund on red.

Technically Crystal Palace are not in the Football League at the moment. Fortunately they have Ian Holloway to put that right for them.
  4. Making three first team goalkeepers in their paper-thin squad. Lucky they didn't sign up for one of those "fixed budget" type of business plans.
  5. I'm lucky enough to have dual nationality, but if I was forced to choose there is no contest. I would keep my British citizenship. Having 2 passports has a lot of advantages for frequent travellers.
  6. No. I use Boat browser on my android, with Flash installed manually. You just do it once. I still use Chrome for browsing, and only use Boat for websites that need Flash.
  7. Keep the faith. I've just watched the highlights, and Martinez is slowly but surely turning Everton into Wigan
  8. Alps gets a huge amount of stick for his negativity when things aren't going according to plan. Don't begrudge him his chance to get his own back. Ashes anyone?
  9. 8 appearances in the Europa in 07/08 for Fiorentina, scoring once, and 4 appearances also for Fiorentina in Champions League 08/09, no goals. He left Fiorentina for Bologna in January 2009.
  10. To be fair, I think we're only in 5th spot because both Manchester clubs have had relatively poor starts by their standards, and we've played more games than Everton. In reality I think we're at somewhere around 8th or 9th, and I'm happy with that as the next stage of or development. We're still a bit short to trouble the top 6.
  11. If the press article is right, Nigel was suing us for unfair dismissal. Financially that means he would claim damages to put him back into the same financial position that he would have been in if he had not been dismissed. So that is what he would have earned at Saints up to the end of his contract in 2015 less what he will earn at Reading in the same period. If he won his unfair dismissal claim he would get the difference plus his legal costs.
  12. Close it down in the Task Manager?
  13. I see what you did there Sue
  14. Don't be daft Mero, this is SaintsWeb Let the rotten club die, and fans start fresh in the lower leagues, like Wimbledon? Earn some respect rather than demand it? Just a thought. I don't think you saved the club, I think you stole it from the creditors. What went on might have been within the letter of the law, just, but it wasn't within the spirit of the law in my book.
  15. If a journalist (particularly one that works in the Murdoch empire) has an opinion they ain't gonna tell you what it is, they're paid to increase the ratings.
  16. For that money he should have at least another half a dozen from the games he hasn't played in
  17. Is that legal?

An opinion is something you post on an internet forum so other people can read it. An agenda is something you post on an internet forum over and over and over and over again every time somebody has the audacity to disagree with it. Al in my opinion of course.
  19. "To see the enhanced content on this page, you need to have JavaScript enabled and Adobe Flash installed." I think maybe I dodged a bullet there.

  22. We've got City v Wigan & Villa v Spurs live here, so there will be a few streams around. Can't see much global interest in Bristol City tbh.
  23. Did you try telling them all that they can sign up for only a fiver a year?
  24. I think the whole world gave up on F1 as an exciting sport the day Coulthard was appointed commentator. How can anybody stay awake listening to him drone on and on and on about what he did 15 years ago and how good Di Resta is? At the end of the day it's days are numbered, 'elf an safety will stifle all of the competitive edge.
  25. To be fair, I think if you really are going to be dressed in the latest club kit every year, it's much better value to have a complete change every year, rather than fork out upwards of £40 for a new shirt that has stripes that are ¼" wider than the one you've already got.
