Don't be daft, that's not their problem. That's for the owners to sort out. You know, the few "local businessmen", who are coincidentally property developers as well, who will actually own the majority of the club. But PST will have a fanontheboard.

Would make a superb floating boozer on match days if she was tied up at the gravel wharves.
-
It sounds to me more like Chainrai is playing hardball with the FL over their imposed "terms", and he will decide if and when he will compromise far enough to meet their requirements.
-
I have to say that was pretty much how I saw it. I expect a hefty fine for the FA for deliberately sending black players to Serbia.
-
TB: "So, my trusty friends. We meet again." PST: "Hi Trev" TB: "Have you got an agreement with the debenture holder yet?" PST: "Yes we have..." TB: "That's brilliant" PST: "... But Chainrai refuses to accept it" TB: "Ah, riiiight"

What's that got to do with our rivals?

I think Birch has just about had enough. I think he is seriously considering setting a deadline. That will get them all rattled.

I was looking at PKF's options to get out without further damage, rather than try to engineer a preferred outcome. Dont forget, as well, that Portpin also have around 25% of the unsecured debt as major creditor of CSI, through their poxy AA.
-
I was kind of assuming, maybe wrongly, that as the biggest creditor, if Portpin didn't accept the terms of the PST bid, it wouldn't be the one chosen.
-
And the rest. Surely they won't get a Court date this year? So, IF Birch is prepared to do that (which I doubt) PST either proceed carrying the risk of paying Portpin's damages & costs next year if Chinny wins, or they tell Birch they'll wait until after the Court case. How much money have the Trust got? I don't know if it works this way, but it seems to me that Birch's best option is to convene another Creditor's meeting, and make them choose one bid, then take that bid to the FL. If the FL don't accept then liquidate.

So, what are you saying? All Latvians are racists?

January/February is mid-summer. I don't think climate has anything to do with it. In many parts of Africa seasons are notional, and more to do with rainfall than temperature.
-
Even if they have, both Pritchard and Kerr are frontmen. As far as I know nothing has been discovered about the investors or beneficial owners of "Portco", which appears to have been set up solely for this transaction
-
But hasn't Hall demonstrated that neither Jacob nor Lampitt did, in fact, follow the wishes or instructions of Portpin? In fact, doesn't he give specific examples of where they did the opposite?

I know we've seen it several times before, but this is probably an opportune time to have another look at this little gem from a couple of years ago. Site 1 (Fratton Park) is roughly 5 acres, and also roughly one third of the total land. Word is the "price" of the Miland 2004 land from the administrator is around £2.5m. That seems cheap for around 10 acres in that location, but if you then consider that it is stuck right next to a football ground and has planning restrictions, then it might be about right. My guess is that in a reasonable market, without any planning constraints or football matches to worry about, the whole 15 acres could be worth somewhere between £15m to £20m. As the Daily Mail article rightly notes, "the ground's value as a development site would be massively enhanced by packaging it with the 10 acres or so of land that Gaydamak owns to the west and north of Fratton Park." The opposite is also true, i.e. the value of the Gaydamak land would likewise be massively enhanced by packaging it with the Fratton Park land, and even more so if Fratton Park arena no longer stood on that land because Pompey had either ceased to exist, or been relocated by their "owner". Anybody who could get themselves into a position where they could: Have ownership of Fratton Park for around £500k Have ownership of Miland 2004 land for around £2.5m Have it within their power to remove regular football from Fratton Park would be looking at a potential profit of somewhere around £17million once the property market starts to tick again. And FWIW, IMO that is the basis on which the land value would be judged if anybody does challenge Chainrai's debenture in Court. p.s. The Miland 2004 land is all the other pieces 2,3,4,5 & 6 put together for anybody who isn't following closely

That was only to be expected after they got steady Eddie back from Burnley

Plus all those kids on free tickets the place must be nearly full

Training Ground Development - "temporarily suspended"

So help me out here, has the work been stopped because Cortese hasn't got the balls to sack Adkins, or is it because Les Reed did a sh*the job at Charlton? I'm afraid I got lost. -
Ah that'll be the compulsory purchasing and ringfencing department at Portsmouth City Council then
-
Surely the safest thing for PKF to do is call another creditors meeting & let them choose. It's not PKF's fault Chainrai is the biggest creditor
-
Yep. Ramsey playing left midfield.
-
They're all on live here tonight. I'm currently watching Danny Fox. Bale just skinned him but Morrison missed the free header, then the other Morrison scored straight away at the other end for 1-0 Scotland
