They're scousers. We all have to share their pain.

According to Koeman it's a seenus infection. Mrs. h overheard the press conference and thinks he's got a penis infection.

Ruling out the big clubs?

I see most are upgrading from 8 to 10, and I can understand why. Any reason to upgrade from 7?

I'm not sure it should. Britain desperately needs a proper social democratic party and the old duffers with their fingernails desperately clinging to the class war and the union "victories" of the seventies have been preventing it for far too long. The Labour Party did it's job well 50 years ago. But we don't send children up chimneys or miners down pits any more.

We don't have an 11 man first choice team any more. We put out 18 for every game, all of whom except maybe the keeper in most games, are in the reckoning for game time. Add in 3 or 4 injuries at any one time, and a couple of suspensions, and I would say our first team is around 24 strong, and both Reed and JWP are part of that team.

The only measure of "bigness" that matters is the size of their income versus the size of their expenditure. While they do get bigger attendances, they sell their tickets very cheaply. Their gross income on season tickets is well below a tenner a game. Set against that is the huge cost, by L2 standards, of keeping Fratton Park open. It is a money pit they simply can't afford, as evidenced by the lack of TV facilities last night. They have gambled all this year on reaching the rich financial rewards of league 1. They have no safety net left. The parachute payments, the Tesco money and the fans wonga.com accounts are all empty. So they are sailing very close to the wind. They have a fair chance of going up one league this season, but if they don't...

When the commentator says "the lure of what's happening down here on the south coast" is he referring to their lowest league finish ever?

There are an awful lot of empty seats aren't there?

FF didn't get where he is today by letting pilots get on and do their job

But if they don't finish higher than Saints then was he correct to belittle him?

Is that the new secondary drainage?

"We've nearly got new floodlights. And we've nearly got new disabled facilities. And we've nearly got new kiosks. And we've nearly got new corporate facilities." And we're nearly going to get promoted, And we're nearly as big as Southampton.

I'm a big Pi fan

Are you suggesting we haven't? I could have sworn we've signed several full internationals.

I think he's just hoping that a couple of free sketches and being on the board of PST is an acceptable alternative to talent and experience when Pompey come to select the Architect for their new arena. After all the old jobs for the boys routine worked out well for Micah Hall didn't it.

There's only been one transfer so far this window that I'm sorry we missed out on, and that's Alderweireld to Spurs.

I put my faith in luck. And Saint George. -
I'm referring to time at Saints. How they perform other teams is much more subjective. I expect JWP would look a far better player if we were still playing in league 1

They're saving themselves for the Europa League campaign

Except that they weren't playing in the PL
