He's got 40 minutes left to work out which Saints player is wearing which shirt

If I could chip in with a comment, it seems to me that the tens of thousands of benefit fraudsters over the past couple of decades are far more culpable in depriving those truly in need of our help than those that just condemn the system. Benefit fraud is not a victimless crime. Those that Hockey Saint speaks up for, rightly or wrongly, are paying the price for the long-term invalids with single-figure golf handicaps. In my humble opinion.

Odd people need somewhere to live too, you know.

Knock off the VAT and that's £110 per seat. £4.50 per match.

You picked a bad week to give up crack.

Just a quick question, Charlie. Do you think the club PR video releases are true unedited "fly-on-the-wall" stuff, and we have clandestine CCTV cameras running during contract negotiations? Or do you think they are carefully scripted and edited?
-
I'm just guessing here, but as you are the only person out of the thousands of posts, tweets, retweets, likes and other random internet stuff, to say this: maybe, like me, he is wondering how you are the only person that knows this.

I think they stopped selling kids when Rix left.

One player has gone to Liverpool. One. I'm chuffed that he did, rather than stay here and run his contract down like he did last time. None to Spurs.

I would say it's a bit more than that. If what we read about the contract is true, then Saints would not be in any position to make an "open" offer to match Spurs bid. To do so would severely prejudice our argument that we already have a "legally binding" contract. So I'm not really surprised that the Spurs bid is the only one on the table. Any "counter offer" from us would be in "without prejudice" negotiations to settle the dispute with Madrid, hence Les travelling. All supposing the reported contract situation is broadly correct.

I think this thread has got nearly as much history as the skates.

I think Sarnia Saint's got what it takes to be the next Greek Prime Minister. Towering intellect. Clarity of thought. Meticulous planning. Eloquence of debate. Overwhelming popularity.

A five year old article about a fourteen year old loan for 1 billion Euros? You realise the debt in the news is 320 billion, don't you?

And Syria? And Yemen? And Somalia? And Nigeria? And Mali? And Afghanistan? And Pakistan?

I thought all contracts have to end on 30th June. That's why January transfers sign something and a half year contracts.

Match fixing and betting - anyone had any experiences?

No way. FIFA's internal governance department would be all over it like a rash if something like that was going on. -
I'm sure the Trust must be very busy these days, now that the Guardian accepts "sponsorship" for running news articles. All without any conflict of interest whatsoever, obviously.

The same BBC that ran a Newsnight special dismissing claims of Qatari corruption in the 2022 bid after sending a team to Qatar to ask the Qataris if they bribed anybody, and the Qataris replied " No, definitely not". That BBC?
