If Spurs are signing Hojbjerg it makes the deal more complex. It's an additional variable and factor and is likely to drag things out. If we genuinely are giving Spurs an ultimatum over Hjobjerg and dealing with Everton instead then, given Levy's track-record they might be completely unreasonable in relation to KWP by way of tit for tat.

Perhaps the structure of the borrowing is slightly different, with different group companies able to draw down the money directly? I think following the law is more important, for sure, than making a stupid, hypocritical and counterproductive gesture to placate a body of people of dubious motivation. And I think a country that makes arbitrary unlawful decisions is a country heading in a downwards trajectory.
