Thanks a lot. Tallies with what you would expect: - need a bit more quality at CB - need a better partner for JWP - ideally need more goals from non-Ings strikers (hopefully Che and Obafemi can chip in more) - if McCarthy could pass he'd be top drawer

Jim Steele gets the bus from West End towards town and likes to talk to people about himself.

Anyone else been blocked by Matt Le Tiss on Twitter for questioning his outlandish Covid posts? I've met him a few times and he's always been really nice. His recent online behaviour is odd though. I hope he's OK. Have Malibu sales soared in the South Hampshire region lately? Anyway, got me to thinking.... has anyone ever met a Saints player and found something surprising or unwelcome happen. For instance, did Ulrich van Gobbel try to sell you a car? Did Cosimo Sarli take your mum out for dinner? Has anyone surprised or disappointed you?

That's a bit unfair. I think Raging Bull literally believes that unrepentant sinners are tormented in hell for eternity.

I think they had a bit of Black Death in Mongolia the other day.

That's what I was wondering. It's probably not significant enough to matter but I just felt really sorry for Forster just now.

Should pelanties in the course of a match be the same as in a shoot-out? Ben Foster just made a brilliant pelanty save but couldn't prevent the rebound going straight to Sterling, who slotted it in (fnar). Does allowing play to continue from rebounds favour the attacking team too much?

If Spurs are signing Hojbjerg it makes the deal more complex. It's an additional variable and factor and is likely to drag things out. If we genuinely are giving Spurs an ultimatum over Hjobjerg and dealing with Everton instead then, given Levy's track-record they might be completely unreasonable in relation to KWP by way of tit for tat.
-
The concern with all of this is that it reduces the likelihood of signing KWP, assuming Ralph wants to do that.

Registration of Charge: MacQuarie Bank vs MSD Holdings

As an aside, I just saw David Dein, Dalian Wanda and Karsten Jancker in Hedge End KFC. -

It’s not about “stacked in favour”, necessarily, but the new loan is four times bigger than the Macquarie facility was so the new lenders are probably being more fastidious in protecting their security. Perhaps the structure of the borrowing is slightly different, with different group companies able to draw down the money directly? Obviously we don’t have all the details but this looks like something mundane to do with the loan, rather than any new news! -

Indeed. This was probably a condition of the loan agreement. -
Haha, now you’re definitely talking about Matt Holland, who sounds a lot like Andy Townsend.
-
That’s funny, because I was watching on Bein and Matt Holland was the co commentator and he said the same thing! He wasn’t a Saints fan but we were trying to persuade him to sign. Made him mascot and sorted him out with signed photos with Peter Shilton.

Hope the crowd behaves so the players can do the lap afterwards.

I think both can be useful players and seeing as we gave Long a new contract I don't think this is an area where we are looking to add anyone. Let's hope Ings can help bring them both on. They could be a cracking partnership themselves in a few years.

Surprised about the positive vibes for Vestergaard. I thought he was poor and liable to give them a goal. It was his dithering that caused the long throw they nearly equalised from. He's just a bit too slow to react for the PL.

That was one of the funnier ends to a match I can remember for a while. Very enjoyable indeed KWP my MOM.

Good suggestions. -
As has been rightly pointed out, a defeat which fucks over the Skates is perfectly acceptable to want. So, not quite EVERY game.

I didn't know what Spice addicts looked like until I wandered the streets of Leeds.

You said the morally correct thing to do would be to dump her somewhere that you judge has similar values. Clearly that is an absurd way to administer anything approaching a coherent and respectable justice system and it is not moral, it is arbitrary. The morality lies in objectivity and in fair process. -

I think following the law is more important, for sure, than making a stupid, hypocritical and counterproductive gesture to placate a body of people of dubious motivation. And I think a country that makes arbitrary unlawful decisions is a country heading in a downwards trajectory. What's so bad about having her back and charging her with whatever crime we think she committed. If she's that heinous then she'll get banged-up. What's the criteria for being removed from that process? -

Well, let's send our paedos to Greece. We can send gun crime folks to the US (they love a gun over there) and probably also our druggies to Colombia. Not sure about burglers yet.
