Redmond was good for the first half an hour. Not "ok", not "atrocious" but "good". Despite that, a large number of clueless simpletons were on his back in the Kingsland and Northam corners, whinging at any action other than a forwards dribble. He could hear these witless spanners and was rightly fed up. His confidence looked to drop off as a result and he got worse as the game went on. The atmosphere yesterday was generally excellent but the treatment of Redmond was awful and counterproductive.

We could also do with Watford scuppering Spurs today to ensure Chelsea are fighting for 4th as long as possible.

I think, yes and no, to that. Whilst it was only the plucky Cherries I thought we handled their pressure well. The defenders stepped up to the plate, Romeu and Lemina showed plenty of energy and Hojbjerg got stuck in well when he came on. We also had decent chances to get a third goal. Given the amount of times we have surrendered leads this season, that was a marked improvement. The only worry is the question: what if Bournemouth had a big bugger up front? Bringing Defoe on actually helped us I thought. If they had a Giroud / Carroll / Murray / Barnes type to come off the bench, would we have coped?

Yeah, but he gets his ticket and travel paid for so he gets to be an annoying, asinine drip for free.

Although a couple of the yellows were harsh. Taylor had a boner for giving McCarthy one. Could see him itching to give a time wasting yellow card from the moment we scored the second.

Interesting to hear Tadic thanking him for the effort in training. Looking at the player reactions it seems he's popular. I've never been a massive fan of his but if we'd appointed him in Jan I expect we'd be OK now.

I seriously hope I never have you in front of, next to, or in close proximity to me at a match.

I guess you were one of the divs then? He was playing well until the retards starting booing him, after which he seemed nervous. Funny, that. Much more use than JWP.
-
Yep, despite the cretins on Redmond's back in the first half.

With Austin and Long, about the only one of the first team squad I would be disappointed not to have next season.

Amazingly you can get odds against the draw/Bournemouth double chance and around 4/1 for a Bournemouth win. Their away record must be ****e!
-
March FFS. We kept him until ****ing March MARCH!
-
We'll probably beat Bournemouth but all the other results will go against us. **** happens innit.

Won't happen. Gardos is on loan.

For whatever reason, Puel seems to struggle to keep a Premier League squad in good spirits and well motivated. A lot of our players disliked working with him. That's from a player's mouth. Now it seems the same is true at Leicester.

Penalty against West Ham, without which we would be virtually relegated.

I won't be buying a Season Ticket with this lot in charge unless some proper explanation is given as to strategy and source of funds. Why are people having to dig this info out of obscure Chinese sports sites and Twitter profiles? Talk to the real fans FFS, not the selfie-stick and scarf dinlows over there (not that there will be any next season....).

Christ no. Five defenders and absolutely zero creativity. Back four. Romeu and Hojbjerg. JWP, Redmond, Tadic Austin Swap Gabbi or Long for JWP fairly early if we're not scoring. Swap Sims for Tadic or Redmond if they're not having a good game.

Remember when we were linked with Radja Naingolan [sic]? He’s quality.

Always a chance with Lovren around!

What vaccination is needed 6 months in advance?

In the first half he was partly a victim of the system. We played with Romeu as a deep pivot and the other two midfielders fanning out either side. It meant Lemina wasn't on the ball too much to be a playmaker and also struggled to link with the forwards. As Shurlock said, when the game opened up in the second half and we were looking to attack more he was pretty decent. Frankly, it isn't going to help if any players are singled out for special treatment by the fans.

There was a chap at the back of block 135 working himself into a rage and running around screaming "c-unt!" at the rest of the crowd for not singing enough. It makes you wonder what sort of repression these people carry with them in everyday life that they become so enraged when their outlet is perceived as slightly sub-optimal.
