  1. I expect the Plymouth centre back is distinctly average, at best.
  2. That would cause a compromise on font size. I think the fact that he has paid £30 to watch an amateurish shower of crud get stuffed is support enough.
  3. I'l nominate Marian too. If only he hadn't had all those injuries.....

But Mike, Branfoot paved the way for Hoddle.... Think of him as a John the Baptist figure.

  6. Almost exactly how I feel. This is not a football club anymore. It is not what I used to enjoy watching. It gives me minimal pleasure. It does not exist to try and do what the team I supported existed to try and do. It has been killed.

  8. Who's that? Perry? That's at least 4 then because Pearce has two as well.
  9. TBF I can think of at least 3 goals we've scored direct from corners this season which is probably not a bad return.
  10. I've had tea at Patrick Moore's house.
  11. How long was a round back then? Fook me, I bet those fights were messy by the later rounds!
  12. First reference of the day on the radio to Gillet's height. "Pint sized"
  13. Wonder if he's joining Gasmi in the stands for the second half?.... probably not a very clever plan.
  14. Classic activism. Very enjoyable and ultimately fruitful!
  15. My mate reckons Gasmi is in the away end with some bit of skirt! How funny.
  16. McLaggon is highly rated by well-known session guitarist, Chris Spedding.
  17. Smith is very fast indeed.
  18. What an awful looking team.
  19. How do you know this?
  20. It is interesting that Lowe, if I remember correctly, questioned the directors' compliance with their fiduciary duties before his return. Surely Jones shouldn't have been exempt from this criticism?
  21. He owns 6% and is reliant on the support of others. Therefore he can be "got at".
  22. You lost the audience at this point
  23. It's a nice idea but I'm only just getting over a cold and I really don't want another one.
  24. Ok - thought you may have meant that.... It would be interesting to know what our position is with respect to suppliers actually. Seeing as this money comes via the overdraft though, I'd imagine we're keeping our heads resonably well above water on that front - if we weren't I expect Barclays would have withdrawn support some time ago. Also, I expect the company that suppliers contract with is not the holding company or the football club so ultimately the threat of a statutory demand or winding-up petition would be fairly limited.
  25. Ooooohhh..... Ponty won't like that.
