  1. McLoughlin was indeed pure ****e.
  2. I was thinking about getting a membership for the upcoming season for the main reason that it might be hard to get tickets to certain away matches without one.
  3. It's one of them things.
  4. This is the most intriguing question for me also.
  5. Fishy as anything! Who suddenly notices after several years that their website is a bit gash due to some comments on a football forum and then updates it instantly? Very odd.
  6. He's a poor finisher, he can't pass, he falls over the ball a lot, he's not as fast as people think he is, he's overpaid, he seems to be an immature goon. I agree about McGoldrick being potent in League One but I suspect he will be off to a better club.
  7. Indeed it's a myth that they're illgotten, but... it's downright nonsense to suggest he's lost more than he has received from Saints, which is what you have just done.
  8. Hardly an "I was there when Frannie scored" moment!
  9. Size was injured. I agree about Gasmi. Unless he is staying why was he in the squad?
  10. Still, it's nice to have an alternative viewpoint.
  11. Oh, well if he's a completely ambition-less coaster after an easy life then yes, I agree.
  12. Aha! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12846
  13. If only people did not have retirements there would be no Lowe.
  14. Calm down, dear.

    Flybe

    Me too.
  16. Why not? Any sane manager in League One would rather manage Southampton than Exeter.
  17. Wotte seems to think he might be the way he's talking on the radio at the moment! He just said we tried to sign Blackstock in January too.
  18. Nathan Dyer.
  19. Um, well excluding Dodd and Gorman I think most people would actually be of the opinion that we did end up with a better long-term option. Unfortunately someone saw fit to sack him.
  20. :smt035:smt113:-\":-\":smt034:smt021 :smt117:smt117:smt117[-X What a season.
  21. No. The only way it would be a "yes" would be if Rupert was in charge of appointing his replacement.
  22. Still going strong: http://www.namg.eu.com/introduction.html http://asturius.com/groupinfo.html
  23. Very funny. Couldn't happen to a nicer club.
  24. It doesn't go against the rules. The rules have been applied. We were retarded enough to go into admin a couple of days after the cut-off when in relegation trouble already - that's our fault. I agree that it does feel a bit unfair though. What is strange is that these rules were brought in to punish clubs gaining a competitive advantage by over-borrowing. Unfortunately, a lot of clubs will be going into admin for other reasons though. The League would be better off scrapping these rules and introducing proper measures to regulate how clubs borrow and spend money.
