I've never heard anyone say the Academy played toothless gash-formation until recently. I'm a bit sceptical personally. Certainly they played 4-4-2 every time I ever bothered watching them.

Although today we have Davis, Perry, Skacel and Euell in the team. BWP can't be regarded as a "kid" anymore and Surman has a few years league experience under his belt. It's more to do with the ridiculous shape and tactics IMO.

Simple question. We are getting progressively worse and have been doing so, bar one or two exceptions, since the third match of the season. We are one dimensional, incapable of varying our tactics, flacid and uninspiring.
