  1. Well, if he's looking for a dilapidated piece of crap ....
  2. This.
  3. Well, MP goes all the way to the League cup final and fails. Couldn't ask for more than that, I suppose.
  4. The only reason I can come up with is the club made a big mistake.
  5. Chelsea take the lead just before half time. Hopefully they can salvage something for us from this shitty weekend.
  6. I wonder how long before they start a http://www.sackkoeman.com?
  7. They don't have to be big, but they do have to be clinical in front of goal. Anyway, to answer the OP's question: bring in a clinical striker before the transfer window shuts.
  8. Forget progression, if we lose Morgan, Toby, Nathan, and possibly Big Vic, it'll be hard to just tread water. It's frustrating, because so many of us saw this a mile away. Yes, RK and LR may have had half-hearted attempts to bring someone in, and no-one says it would've been easy, but it's a big world out there and we're hardly short of money. Surely we could've got someone as good a Pelle, to give him a rest or to have a plan B when he's having a stinker (which is every game now).
  9. True, but staying in would have increased their chances of winning it. And we wouldn't want that.
  10. Time to give Andy a generous new long contract, before he gets snapped up by the likes of Barcelona. Come on Champagne Iain, you know it's the right thing to do.
  11. Yes, but I for one forgive him.
  12. Little? Big! I had a big wish before that, that he'd take one. Couldn't believe my eyes when he stepped up for the 5th (thought it would have to go to sudden death before he'd get a chance). I think Brenda wanted all three of the L's out there to stick it to us.
  13. Nine brilliant penalties, and one wanker.
  14. Hahahahahahhahhahahhaha
  15. .... in the Turkish cauldron. Morale-sapping 120th minute defeat would be rather nice.
  16. True, but the further they went the better the chances of the bastards actually winning it.
  17. This. And not a massive gamble, just one player, the central striker we needed.
  18. It was a big handbag though.
  19. Depends. Maybe so, if Arsenal and ManU finish in the top 4, but if Liverpool or Spurs (or both ) do ... that would be unbearable.
  20. Can't really argue with any of that. Only thing missing is the abysmal ref factor: 3 Manchester United 4 Liverpool 5 Arsenal 6 Tottenham 20 Southampton
  21. Are you sure? I thought the only way to get 5 CL spots was for a PL winner of Europa (or the CL) to finish outside the top 4? We'll have to ask CB Fry to clarify.
  22. If the reason we didn't get a front man was money, then to me that would be the ultimate in penny-wise pound-foolishness. Missing out on the CL riches, not to mention potentially losing 3 or more of our best players, is worth a minor gamble. A top 4 finish is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a club our size.
  23. Even if we lose Morgan, Nathan and Toby? That's a huge loss.
  24. I wouldn't say definitely, but most probably (especially Morgan). Agreed. Surely it was possible to get a decent target man, at the very least a back-up to Pelle. The difference could be a few extra points (0 goals in our last 3 home games suggests so), and that could be the difference between top 4 versus losing Toby, Clyne & Morgan.
