  1. http://www.vipleague.se/football/276250/1/ipswich-town-vs-southampton-fc-live-stream-online.html
  2. Thanks Art. With Firefox plugin anonymoX I can usually circumvent the non-UK IP block for BBC 1 online.
  3. If anyone finds a good stream for tonight please post here. Ta!
  4. That may or may not be true, but he helped lay the foundations, and without him we wouldn't be where we are today. NC brought ML to the club, and we'd probably still be festering in the lower divisions if he hadn't. NC was fantastic for us, but in hindsight he probably left at just the right time.
  5. That's true. If we'd won the cup, or finished runners up to Arse, we would've got into the Europa league.
  6. Nope, but 13 from 15 is.
  7. Both.
  8. Thank you Whelk. Of course we all want both, the point of the thread is if only one is achieved, which would you prefer. If the choices were Cup, 4th, or both, it would be bloody pointless.
  9. Come on some of you lot, you know "both" is not allowed. Normally I'd say Cup, but finishing 4th this year could be the difference between Morgan, Nathan, Toby and others signing a new contract or leaving. Not to mention the other talent we could attract. Possibly the start of something big. A once in a lifetime opportunity?
  10. [h=3]MIKE WALTERS[/h]Premier League : 1. Manchester United 2. Chelsea 3. Manchester City 4. Arsenal 18. Swansea 19. West Brom 20. Southampton Champions League : Chelsea FA Cup : Liverpool League Cup : Manchester City Championship : Wigan League One : Sheffield United League Two : Portsmouth
  11. Corrected for you.
  12. He only made 3 appearances, so I doubt that.
  13. Apart from Spurs of course.
  14. The chasm is getting rather embarrassingly large now. But at least they did win the conference-league level first division, played in slow motion with baggy shorts and footballs that weighed more than bowling balls, Match of the Month was on Pathé News, and when their grandparents were in nappies and Laurel and Hardy were in their prime.
  15. I don't know if anyone agrees with me, but I think the stand out requirements are a GK, and a striker who can score goals.
  16. [h=2]legacy debt[/h] n 1 something that is owed, such as money, goods, or service, which even the worst creditors cannot avoid having to pay 2 ♦ bad debt a debt that has little or no prospect of being paid e.g. all non-legacy debt owed by Portsmouth FC
  17. They have a slimy weasel of a manager as well.
  18. We've got a superb DM and back 4 (or 5) and good GK. For all their attacking talent I can't see them getting 4. Unless Dowd plays a blinder.
  19. You really need to let the kittens know who's boss.
  20. Glenda did have 1.5 points per game, which would normally put him up to A-. But I took marks off for him being incompetent in the transfer market (long term I think he would have failed, just like he did elsewhere), for the Tranmere match, and for being a tit. 1.23 points per game, including many games where more than half the first team were injured. He did ok with us, and I reckon if he hadn't been ousted 2 games into the relegation season we would have stayed up.
  21. Good idea, let's start with the F's (just on the top of my head, plenty of others): Fourpast, Little Pulis, Davenport, Ali Dia (although maybe D- for comical effect). We should do this for managers too: A: McMenemy A-: WGS B+: Adkins, Ball B: Nicholl, Pardew, Pearson, Pochettino C: Luggy, Glenda C-: Jones, Burley D+: Souness, Merrington F: Gray, Wigley, Wotte, Poortvliet, Branf**t F-: Saggy RoKo jury still out, but heading for an A if he can keep this up.
  22. Nicky Butt. I remember John Motson commentating on a match in which NB was playing, and at one boring stage of the game tried to say something clever, along the lines that Butt was playing just like his name. After a few seconds of silence realizing his faux pas, he then spent the next minute trying unsuccessfully to come up with a convoluted explanation of what he meant.
  23. Let's hope their manager thinks the same.
  24. They've got a superb array of attacking talent (how I wish they could lend us one of them), and a dodgy defense, and we're the opposite. Should be interesting. Time to sticky this thread, Mods?
