Dark Munster replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Now, now, be fair. It's 34 extra shirts. -
Corrected it for you.

BTW, the Kane ship sailed away a long time ago.
-
Yes. Front line striker who can score, and a back-up GK.
-
Nightmare scenario: they pip us for 4th, and as a result Morgan, Big Vic, Toby and Clyne leave for CL football. It would take my dislike for MP to a whole new level.
-
Can they get knocked out that quickly? Don't they have to play 3 games or something first?
-
Agreed. This is a golden opportunity, so I hope Saints go for it and bring in a centre forward (who can finish). Also a backup GK in case Forster gets a serious injury.

Southampton v Arsenal This is another tough game for Southampton but I was impressed by them in their 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday. It feels like Saints are back after their blip in results and they have got their swagger back a bit, along with some of their players back from injury. Arsenal were a bit fortunate to beat them at Emirates Stadium at the start of December with a late winner when Southampton were down to 10 men. I think this game will be just as close and this time Saints will have something to show for it.Alexis Sanchez scored Arsenal's winner against Southampton in the 89th minute when they met at Emirates Stadium The Gunners are level on points with Ronald Koeman's side, who are in fourth place. In the race for the Champions League places the most important thing for Arsenal is that they do not lose. The more I see of Southampton, the more I think that they are going to figure in that race right up until May. They are better than Tottenham and Liverpool at the moment and they have already proved they are extremely competitive when they play Arsenal, so they have an outside chance of making the top four. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 Bastard.

I agree there isn't much difference between Swansea's rags-to-riches and ours. Apart from not going into administration and dropping into L1 on -10 points, and from there not getting promoted to the PL in successive seasons, and not producing virtually a whole international team of talent from their academy (including the world's most expensive player), and not currently sitting in a CL place after losing the chairman, manager and 5 key players in the summer.

Looks hopeless: TV Stations Most sports events are shown on tv, so that's the info we will provide you: the tv stations that are showing the sports events, worldwide, but you can filter on country as well. So you can see easily which sports events you can watch in your own country, and on which tv channel. Official Streaming Many sports events are not shown on tv, but on the internet. We will guide you to the official streaming pages of those sports events. As sometimes betting sites show those events, or they show events on Youtube or their own websites. You won't have to look any further, as we will provide you with all the official streaming links available. So if it isn't on tv, then we will provide you with the official streaming links. We won't provide any links to unofficial streaming.

Is he as good as Freddy Adu?

That's the key, and why it wasn't a penalty. It was an expertly instigated dive, which fooled the TV pundits, many of our fans, and amazingly the world's leading footballing expert Jose Mourinho. Equally amazingly it didn't fool the incompetent ref.
-
Agreed. The ref got it right IMHO. I don't mind others here claiming it should've been a penalty, but saying "we all agree it was a penalty" is bollocks.
-
Me too.

Me too. Even though it wasn't a penalty.

Do Morgan's 2 yellows count in his total of 7 for the season, or with the red card is he still technically on 5? The reason I ask is because 10 yellows result in a 2 game suspension next year.

Clyne will miss Arse and ipswich according to the Echo. On another note: “The difference in my opinion was we didn’t make stupid mistakes that we did against City and United." - R.K. I think Ronald missed JWP's horrific back pass to Costa.
