  1. Can he play in goal?
  2. That may, or may not, be true.
  3. As I said, anyone predicting 2-0 is a genius.
  4. If he's forced to play again for us, expect to see a lot of these "accidents".
  5. What a boring first half. Hopefully it'll liven up a bit in the second.
  6. 4 points from Chelsea and City is pretty impressive. Hopefully that'll encourage your lot to really go for it, and not park the bus.
  7. Yes it would. But even more amusing is seeing them fester in League 2 (or the 4th Division as I prefer to call it), followed by administration over an unpaid £2,999 debt, relegation to the conference, and liquidation.
  8. "Reports of my horrible death have been greatly exaggerated."
  9. Throw in Bertrand, Clyne, Big Vic, Morgan and Forster. Does that make the current Saints team the best ever, defensively? I reckon so, even if we may have had better players in certain positions (Shilton, Svensson, etc.)
  10. Me too! I'm glad I'm not the only one.
  11. Agreed. Only a complete idiot would predict us to win 2-0.
  12. Maybe he's given up with that. The guests (who include jokers, puppets and clowns) are beating him.
  13. Exactly. Why do any Saints fans continue to want England call-ups for any of our players (unless they want them to leave)? Haven't Shaw, Lallana, SRL, Clyne (probably), etc. taught us anything?
  14. Absolutely brilliant. One of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen. Anyway, back on topic. Saints 2 Burnley 0
  15. I don't think it was his straight-talking, rough Northern manner which bothered Rupert Lowe & Co. It was probably that NP was a Crouch hire, and there was no way the ruddy-cheeked bastard would have anyone associated with Crouch continue at "his" club.
  16. If Burnley don't score I'd be more than happy with just the one.
  17. I think that's a very good idea (player fouled must take the penalty). That's what they do in ice hockey (penalty shot).
  18. With Eriksen scoring in the 88th minute. Oh wait a minute, that's ****ing Spurs.
  19. The Don no longer being around certainly helps!
  20. Wow, if a player has two, both yellows in a match are not counted? I thought it would only be one not counted (or unfairly, none). So, if he gets a 10th yellow in the Hull match, he should deliberately get a second yellow (=sending off) in the 94th minute of that match (with 30 seconds left in the match), and only serve a one match ban for the subsequent red, instead of 2 matches for 10 yellows.
  21. Me too. Didn't MLT give lessons to Crouch and others in the Luggy era, or is that my imagination?
  22. Yes, but apart from that, Burnley are unbeaten against them.
  23. Plus cup games, which (ridiculously) also count. Does Morgan's 2 yellows (against Chelsea at SMS) count in his tally? If so, a bit unfair since it became a red for that match and a suspension.
