  1. For those without psychic powers, I think he's referring to Galatasaray.
  2. The good news is Hants have a good chance of beating Northants' points total of last year.
  3. They cling desperately to their non-ancient-history cheating win at Wembley, along with their Great Grandad's tales of pub-level football successes, such as this:
  4. Corrected it for you.
  5. Better than Qatar, for sure.
  6. Scraped a draw. Saved by Will Smith again.
  7. At least Rudi supplied us with endless "Has he signed yet?" jokes. In fairness we wouldn't have been in the position to squander millions on those two if NC hadn't brought ML to the club.
  8. That's the first thing that came to my mind. Hopefully they can take 2022 away from Qatar now, and the sooner the better before more slave labourers die.
  9. I don't think anyone believes that. But the chances of success are greater when the manager takes it seriously (as opposed to a scumbag who didn't). Possibly. But 165% of not very much is still not that much. Of course winning the EL (and hence qualifying for the CL) is a different kettle of fish. But for us that's about as likely as finishing 4th, I reckon.
  10. Yes, but why keep on repeating it?
  11. Have to agree. AL, for example, gets a lot of stick from fans, but at least he gave us a number of good years, helping us rise from the depths. Mind you, I doubt CC has many regrets. He may be sitting on the bench, but his bank account is getting fatter and fatter.
  12. Maybe Pearson Jr. is worth a punt? Could possibly be as good as Pulis Jr.
  13. Agreed with most here (with one notable exception). And if crap like P***y, Wigan, Hull and Villa can get to the FA Cup final then surely we can too.
  14. 58 points, according to Redslo. Still a very good haul, especially considering how shit the 2 teams teams were without him.
  15. Charlie Austin certainly tops the list. Shame Newcastle didn't go down, although even if they had, getting any of those 4 would be very unlikely.
  16. I reckon Walcott will score a hat trick in 2 minutes and 57 seconds.
  17. I have my doubts. It would obviously make us stronger, but injuries/suspensions are unpredictable, so I think we'd still lack the depth to overtake any of the big four.
  18. Dick Advocaat is available.
  19. And don't forget Hull this season.
  20. Me too. He's as honest as the day is long.
  21. Fair point.
  22. He was a moneyball for Hull.
