  1. No way. The best chance for a top 4 PL finish since, well, forever. And if we don't make it, what's the worst that can happen, 6th or 7th? Hardly the end of the world.
  2. "... their spectacular self destruction and our coterminous rise to the Champions League spots in the Premier League." This thread never fails to delight.
  3. Not bad for a team in fourth.
  4. Yes. Yes it is.
  5. Very good bus-parkery by Wham. Pele has lost his confidence. I just hope we can get another front man before the January window closes.
  6. Not me. Means one of those ****s would win it and qualify for CL (maybe at our expense ). Best they get to the semis and both lose after extra time in the cruelest possible way. Liverhampton losing to Everton in the final would be amusing too.
  7. Don't forget to give me half your winnings.
  8. Mass brawl. 7 or 8 red cards. Match abandoned. Both teams docked 3 points.
  9. That's going to take us to a level that may make some of them pig sick. Hello Corp Ho. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga&p=2084756#post2084756
  10. Sobering thought of the day: so far Yoshi has more assists as left back than Luke Shaw has had in his PL career.
  11. That's good to know. Physioroom is supposed to be reliable, but apparently not.
  12. Is he injured again? http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
  13. The corner has been turned! Surely time for a bumper contract extension for Awful.
  14. They're still looking for them, I heard. What I don't understand is if Bertrand can get a red for kicking the ball and following through on the opposition's shin, why not the same for the QPR player for kicking 3 balls at the same time?
  15. Exactly. Exactly. Disagree.
  16. QPR v Southampton QPR have been relying on their home form because they cannot win a raffle on the road, but they have only taken two points from their last three games at Loftus Road and I do not see them ending that poor run on Saturday. Southampton had a strange result last weekend when they lost at home to Swansea because they should have been home and hosed by half-time. Saints know how well they played in that game and they would have won the majority of games in the Premier League playing that way. I think they have got a strong enough mentality to say 'that was just a blip, let's get back on it'. Lawro's prediction: 1-2 John's prediction: A lot of my friends are QPR fans and I would not like to see them miserable. 3-1
  17. I see Liverhampton did a Spurs there: opposition leads, has a player sent off after about an hour, and then they win it in the dying minutes. The only thing missing is Eriksen getting the winner in the 88th ****ing minute.
  18. Now that Saggy has limped away from his latest failure, it got me thinking about QPR. It's possible that under Twitchy and their p****yeque-level of FFP cheating, they could end up saving the DCFSBs. Bear with me as I try to explain. It has been suggested that if QPR get relegated, due to FFP violations the football league won't take them, and they'll go straight down to the football conference, do not pass GO, do not collect £200. If this were to happen, then the Championship would probably have one fewer relegated team for that season, to keep the numbers the same. Ditto L1 by the cascade effect, and (you can now see where I'm coming from) ditto L2. So if QPR go down, don't laugh too much because their Skate-like behaviour may end up saving the DCFSBs. They've dodged so many bullets so far, it wouldn't surprise me. It'll also convince me that they really have made a pact with the devil.
  19. Wow, lots of posts today. Haven't bothered reading them. Has he signed yet?
  20. I agree. We should wait at least until next week before writing him off.
  21. You mean the Snooze.
  22. I'm not sure about missing training, but he should be made to miss the next 2 or 3 matches.
