Of course not. But if they were midtable with nothing to play for, the score would be 10-0 to the Hammers now.

If WHam lose against Brighton tomorrow we will be in a better position to get promoted than we were before today's game. A big if, but something to think about.
-
Yes.

I'd rather he were on the pitch in the 2nd half than Chaplow (who's been utter shite).
-
So I guess that rules Cheats FC out for now?

‘From our point of view, if there is an opportunity to come to some kind of agreement where he doesn’t have to be at the football club next year then I think that is the sensible decision for both parties.' So Voldemort, you call giving up a cushy job doing nothing and getting paid a fortune for a year a sensible decision? I think Mr. Kanu may disagree. Well, I suppose it is a bit more sensible than giving up a stable job at WBA to become manager of a sinking, cesspit of a club, which everyone with half a brain knew was hurtling toward liquidation. And apparently he's also "back in training" (I wonder which he used, a wheelchair or crutches?) They must really think the clubs in the Middle East are as stupid as they are.

The ex head of integrity of the FA. You couldn't make it up.

One problem, the game would never end. No-one would ever pay any rent.

Page 1500, or April 28th. Whichever comes first.

I agree with 2/3 of that. If Boro and Coventry have anything to play for, they will probably be hard to beat. But Posh are now in holiday-on-the-beach mode, and are there for the taking. Oh, and they're not very good at the best of times.

Recall we gave Bristol City 6 points this season. If we hadn't, the Cheats would still have a fighting chance of avoiding relegation. Sad isn't it?
-
That's why I wouldn't take a draw now. Also, I reckon it's about a 40% chance of a Saints win, 30% a draw, and 30% a Reading win. I'll take those odds. Of course I may change my mind at 1:45 pm on Friday.
-
I certainly hope not. I want them to go down by less than 10, so that this time the points deduction actually punishes them. For a day or two. Just before they're liquidated.

Hav we had a manager with a better win ratio than Adkins?

Maybe he did it by accident with the same fingers he uses to type teh. -

OK, here's the deal. If I were to say that Glenda would have been much better than Saggy Chops, infinitely better than Wigley, and would have saved us from relegation if he'd been appointed instead of both of them, will you admit that Luggy wasn't that bad for us and wasn't to blame for the relegation? -

Interesting data. The Drunken Scot: 41% BTW, Dalek, compare Sturrock's with Wigley's (and WGS's for that matter), next time you blame Luggy for our relegation. -
Bloody West Ham. Never mind, 2 points dropped.
-
To be pedantic, it does make a difference if (for example) WHam win their last 4, and we win 1, draw 2 and lose 1.
-
Hopefully we're promoted by then, or if not, Brum have something to play for (i.e. not already certain of a top six finish and resting players for the playoffs).
-
Win = We're as good as up Draw = Not too bad Lose = Squeaky bum time Fair summary?
-
I'll be surprised if they last that long. Not quite as catchy, but I'm inclined to go with "You're Pompey 'till 2:30 pm April 28th, You're Pompey 'till 2:30 pm April 28th."

Was feeling quite down after the Cheats cheated a draw today. And with the point, Saints go back to the top. And with the point, Saints are guaranteed a top six finish. And their point gained will make no difference that the DFCSBs will probably no longer exist at the end of the month. I feel a lot better now.

But that probably means that instead of forking out a fiver each for annual full membership, we'll have to pay about £5000 each. That'll be the only way we'll be able to pay off Chinny and Gayboy.
