  1. I agree with virtually all of your reasonings mlg, but the one I think is definitely wrong is JWP free kicks. When you consider he has the best conversion rate in the premier league since records began, whic means he’s more effective than bale & Maddison. He should be at the top on another point though it’s becoming increasingly clear to me that fm suffers from a big team bias. Every year Man Utd in particular are amazing, when in real life they are no where near the same level
  2. My last post on the subject but I'm sure you're aware that quitting because you don't agree with something is not the same as not accepting it as reality... Cameron also said when he resigned the country needed a party leader to deliver the referendum result. Hardly the words of someone not accepting the results of said referendum
  3. You’re twisting the argument to fit your narrative. Cameron accepted the result. The fact he quit afterwards has no relevance whatsoever. 16m voted remain, only a small proportion of which have “screamed and cried every day since”. Of course these are the ones you hear from, as those who accept they lost have just got on with their lives. However these remainers are not comparable to the POTUS
  4. There’s a massive difference between voters doing it and a party leader doing it. Your comparison to this would be David Cameron, who accepted the results, as have the majority of remainers btw
  5. If he was there for the warm up then he got on the pitch 😉
  6. I do love the fact you don't mention his game management in getting us 4-0 up 😂
  7. Can't believe they haven't played this yet. Ridiculous that they have a final the season after. Half the squad that got the team's there are probably playing for other teams now. What happens to new signing? Are they cuptied if they played for a different team in the competition last year?
  8. Romeu was great today but great performances all around. Should have had a peno as well for the trip on Bertrand
  9. Yeah he definitely would have been great today as well. I also think he could and would have adapted to the right manager and worked well in a high press team

    Harry Lewis

Disagree with Gunn. I’m sure he’d be happier playing first team football for a championship club rather than sat on our bench, and will hopefully come back a better player
  11. I’d support the reduction to 18 teams and extra money for efl, but not the rest. Definitely not having the say for just 9 teams, of which 7 will likely be fixed anyway
  12. Obviously we don’t have details but I would imagine part of what you pay will go to broadcasters like Sky & BT. This will disproportionately affect fans of teams like saints who aren’t on tv as much though... I won’t be paying regardless...
  13. 😂 - like the analogy but each time you take a holiday you know you could take the next one in Cornwall as it's entirely your choice. There was no guarantee that Saints would ever want to sign Walcott again when he signed for Everton.
  14. Is he?? If he was so passionate about us why didn't he choose us over Everton two years ago? I'm happy to have him here but am more than a little cynical that's it's much to do with love for the club. He's shown that if he gets a higher wage elsewhere he'd take that over us. I don't blame him for that, but it flies in the face of emotion and passion
  15. Best of luck to him! Good to end this chapter from Saints perspective
  16. Pretty poorly I would think. Jwp has never been effective in more forward positions, and redmond isn’t a striker
  17. Almost certainly. £11m seems extortionate, but when you think Barkley is probably on £6-7m a year it seems the going rate for a proven prem player
  18. Arguably as bad a call as that guy who wanted Scotland to call up Antti Niemi... at least he picked a top keeper
  19. We've got three not great keepers. That's the reality of it. All three are capable of having a great game, but those are generally few and far between. McCarthy probably is the most consistent of the three, but after cm this is arguably the position we need to strengthen the most in our side.
  20. Radio 2 is targeted at the over 35's. That's why it's full of DJs who were popular in the 90's early 00s, and plays music that would've been on Radio One at that time. I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm guessing you pre-date that era and that's why you aren't a fan of how it's changed in recent years. Other stations are supposed to appeal in its stead, but guessing that isn't the case I suspect the BBC will have to scrap the TV License at some point - for me it's a shame, but if too many people don't feel it provides value for money then it's the only fair option. Certainly parts of it are going downhill, its journalism especially. I believe it's still the most neutral news outlet out there, as it seems to get as many complaints from both Labour & Tory supporters
  21. I like long, but Adams has been far more effective at linking play than long ever was. He just needs a bit more composure in front of goal and he’ll be a 10 goal a season guy and a big asset to us. I think he’ll come good On that front
  22. Been a while since this has been bumped 😎
  23. Latest that season I guess
  24. Even if Lazio don't but him it's a good league to generate some interest in him. He came from to us Italy very highly regarded so hopefully he shows that kind of form and tricks another club into thinking he's worth a punt!
  25. My last post on the subject but you missed my reference completely... you assumed I was “offended” when I wasn’t at all so I assumed you “felt big” in response. As to your second point, yes of course I look at how people dress and behave and think “what a knob”, but I don’t feel the need to sneer at them just because they’re different
