  1. Day 12 and sod all. Our transfer policy is just not good enough. If the club cared about improving we would have had a couple in by now. Tomorrow and next Wednesday critical to whether we move forward or not.
  2. I really think that Nicola must bring a guy like Di Matteo in to advise him on football matters in a capacity to replace Reid, If we miss this opportunity I think we will live to regret it big time. I thought we are moving forward. Certainly doesn't look like it from where I am. Often it helps to be in a situation to view things from a distant.
  3. There is a huge difference where the current Saints are concerned and players actually signing. Where the defense is concerned we should have been ready to bring in one or two on day one. It is and was that important to our survival. We will pussyfoot as Cortese does all possible to avoid fees and bonus payments. WE NEED INPUT NOW NOT NEXT MONTH How come you have nothing to say about the fact we are worse off than 2004-2005 and the next 6 games pose far greater danger than what Redknapp faced at the start of 2005. I've had enough of excuses and those looking thru rose colored spectacles over our position.
  4. With our manager still using the likes of de Riddler and the club not having players already lined up once the window opened I have lost faith. We are seeing a rerun of our summer window and injuries show we are just now prepared for the 2nd half of the season. Haven't felt so gutted for a long time.
  5. Our goal has to be 5 good years in the Premier before we even consider Champions League. One only has to look at clubs who enter too quickly to know it stretches inexperienced clubs to the limit. Even our last entry saw us struggle thereafter and get relegation.
  6. Sheer brilliance from Saints today and bar the bringing of that w*n ker De Ridder a tremendous game from Nigel. Boruc had me nervous at the start with his deliberate attempt at being the comedian that he s. Great to finally see Prowsey getting on and shame he wasn't included earlier. A great player who needs to play every game. Very proud today, we deserved to win
  7. Wishing a Happy New Year before midnight is considered very unlucky. Happy New Year's Eve everyone.
  8. Team selection and Guly's role in the absence of Adam was amazing. How can people just jump on him for missing a sitter. How many times does Ricky do the same, yet none of the racist backlash. The guy was gutted. Fergie says the brst way to hold on to a lead is attack, yet Adkind has shown time and time he just loses the plot when we are leading like today. It's a miracle after Kenwyn scored that Crouchie didn't score to finish us off. Ex players always come back to haunt us. For once, in Crouch we had an ex who was jinxed and let us off the hook. We are in deep trouble unless Nigel can get his substitutions right and holds on to leads. Strangely January 5th 2005 Harry got a 3-3 draw with Fulham after we'd lost to Liverpool 1-0. Heartening was we beat Liverpool two weeks later 2-0.
  9. Adkins biggest mistake was not subbing Kelvin when he got an injury. Already it was clear Davis was losing it and the injury would have been the diplomatic way to bring him off. Kalamity Kelvin lost us the 2 points together with the latest Adkins losing the plot substitutions. So so
  10. I quoted us 2 -points worse off after the same number of games. There is a big difference in the games played till the end of December.
  11. Sorry but we're two points less than the same time back in 2004-2005 when we ended up relegated. I'm hopeful but most people aren't seeing the true picture. What we do in the transfer/loan window won't guarantee escaping as Harry and Lowe discovered back then. Having Lallana back would be a huge boost. Following Claus's disclosures a while back I'm asking if it was he and the loans we brought in back then that got us relegated in return for a big kickback from losing vital matches. Just look at the fine forward line and midfield we had but still didn't survive.
  12. Ramirez us F U C King useless. Get Prowsey on to show what our home produced lads can do.
  13. For me it was Luke Shaw, Jason Puncheons form and the return of Jack Cork that turned things around. Take them out of the equation and Adkins substitutions would shoe how little he'd learned.
  14. That Prowsey doen't get a look in anymore and De Riddler and Steve Davis are preferred shows Adkins still hasn't learned anything. Why, why why is James Ward Prowse not playing when Shaw continues to inspire
  15. What do you expect for a guy who's 6ft 7'? Twiggy?
  16. Great to see us approaching the end of the year having played 16 games and with 15 points. Back in the relegation it took us till the 16th January and having played 24 games to reach 15 points. What a difference this past month has when one looks at the relegation and chance of survival. Long may it continue. Com'on you RED!!

    Shaw

Luke grows with every game he plays and has a huge future ahead of him. I don't know if anyone sees this, but the way he speeds down the touchline has me thinking of John Sydenham. All that's missing is Sydies ability to then go round his defender and weave his way into the box or cross to the striker. What an group of players we have coming thru our Academy. So proud of them all, especially Luke and Prowsey.

    Jason Puncheon

Jason has brought fire and excitement to the team. Together he shines in partnership with his mate Clyne and at any time during the match the two are never far apart, interplaying and exchanging moves. It's a sheer pleasure watching Jason weave in and out of opponents, using the fast reacting genius that is almost always one step ahead of play. Can't remember the last time we had someone who won us so many corners and is able find the back of the net. Love you Jason and what you've brought to the team, but also how you've risen above it all and won our hearts.
  19. You lucky man! Think you have no trouble with the commentary broadcasts but you'll be able to watch from one of the links at WIZIWIG. With Flash links you shouldn't need to download anything. Take a look back here as the best links are usually posted on this thread.
  20. Links at WIZIWIG for Streams are put up 45 minutes before kick off. There are live streams every week. Talksport.com does every Premier League broadcast but one has to use a proxy outside of Europe to listen.
  21. If Ramirez isn't back I've more than average faith in Prowsey being a great replacement against Reading. What worries me is that Adkins goes for Davis who is **** poor.
  22. We stand today in a really precarious position with sides all around us having played 2 games less that ourselves. We are in a false euphoria of believing that we are progressed. I pointed out previously that we are in a worse position now that back in Dec 2004. The coming matches in December are must win and take maximum points. There is no excuse for dropping points when our players are up for it. Substitutions and their bad timings continue to be the biggest matter of concern. We had better players left on the bench today such as Makuya and Ward-Prowse who could have produced better than Rodriguez and Davis. Davis is a waste of time and wish we'd never signed him. Prowsey is far far superior and is being short changed by Atkins.
  23. No points but must have been the best defending exercise for the lads against the constant pressure for Liverpool. Shows that they have made good progress and can only get better. What I can't understand is why Prowsey's remains on the bench game after game. He offers a better option as he showed against United and City. He and Ramirez together would be a class act and liven things up when we can move up the pitch. I'd be mighty ****ed off if I were being left to rot on the bench.
  24. There are more than 40 Free Live streams every week across the world for every Premier League game, so why give money to cheats who use the same streams to illegally rip of unintelligent and gullible folk prepared to pay them. Sad, sad, Sad.
  25. Well it's no wonder we never brought in any defenders or missed out on so many. As for West Ham's league position come back in 7 games time and gloat. They now face a repetition of Saints opening 7 games. They've had it easy till now.
