That's entirely uncalled for. There has been plenty of confusion on here about the Europa situation/rules, no need for abuse like that.

I thought that sliced cross was sailing into row Z, was amazed to see it come down and hit the bar. I'm sure plenty will blame KD, but it looked to me a bit like the begovic goal last season; one of those things you can't legislate for. Also, wtf was happening with the surface?? I can't remember the last prem game I saw where so many of our players were losing their footing and so many passes went wildly astray. That late chance for stoke saw Yoshi and Fonte (I think?) both slip over trying to intercept, and that was happening all game.

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED
scotty replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I think it has been established beyond reasonable doubt that morality has no place in modern football. For what little my opinion is worth, I'd like to think jrod might wish to continue his career with the club that paid his wages for a year while he was out injured and got him fit again. But I'm not holding my breath. -
Voted. Go, Dejan!!! (which is probably what the scouse fans are saying...)
-
Yes, but it was an imaginary one carried out by a hypothetical surgeon.

I have precisely no interest in cricket, but a South American mate asked whether I knew of any good streaming services that cover it. Anyone used any that they'd recommend?

My Mrs gets loads of spam emails about penis enlargement. Its odd though, because they all start the same way; "Dear Mrs Scott, further to your enquiry...."

Great. So google even get to fix our elections now, too.

They might be able to get Jurgens brother, Klippity.

It would be a laugh if rogers got sacked, klopp went to the scousers, and had an immediate clearout of the dead wood.

If it was possible under the rules, I could see this happening. We play citeh on the last day; would be typical mourinho to buy a bit of an edge just in case it did go to the wire (which I doubt it will, tbh.) If a loan from chelsea gave us just an extra half chance of turning over the mancs, I reckon he'd do it.

I'm pretty sure Ramirez would have been playing had he been eligible to.

Thats not what Jimmy Naughtie calls him

Ah, but you need to understand that if the cop hadn't shot him, he might have ran into a small child and killed or seriously injured them. Is that what you really want? Dead children??

To be fair, that was the most convincing pen we've taken for ages.

Hull did to us what we used to do to other teams;press high, press hard, don't let the oppo get to the ball first and if they do, close them down asap. We were under the cosh for pretty much the entire first half. If Long had stuck that glorious chance away in the first minute it would have been a different game, I honestly think we'd have won at a canter. As it was, a hard, ground-out win but 3 points on the board and you can't ask more than that. Well chuffed for JWP, first goal on the score sheet and the first convincing penalty we've taken for how long? , and also well chuffed for Pellè. He looked well up for the game today, it was great to hear the support from the crowd for him.

This just popped up on the sickipedia random 5 jokes, might be an omen? I typed 'Hell' instead of 'Hull' into my Sat-Nav. I still got there.
-
I can see hull really going for the win here. Don't see them sitting back and bus-parking. They have nothing to lose when you look at their remaining fixtures, they need to drag a couple of unlikely wins out of somewhere and I'd guess on current form they'd probably see us as one of the teams they could get 3 points from. I think we'll win though. 2-1 saints, Pellè to break his drought.

Didn't we insist on speedie and dixon coming as a package on the shearer deal, and one of them didn't want to move? Worked out brilliantly, that did.
-
I'd be astonished if that happened. The wrong Miliband, with Ed Balls in tow? I can't see that at all.

You don't have to be a right winger to see that theyre pretty much nailed on to get back in, whether on their own or as part of another coalition.

School document discussing Farage, and his behaviour, published
scotty replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Lounge
Well, this thread is going rather differently to the witch-hunt I expected. Quite refreshing. I'm no friend of ukip or Farage, and I personally think Ed Miliband was a disastrous choice of leader for labour. I also have a hearty dislike of Cameron, so not sure where that leaves me. But as Pap and others have pointed out above, this mudslinging against them from their schooldays is, at best, distasteful. I suppose the press are just doing what sells papers or reinforces their own political agendas, but it does the reptiles no favours at all. I'd also like to hear the full story about the letters author who claims not to recall it; that just sounds plain odd to me as they must have spent a great deal of thought and time composing it.
