I actually feel a bit sorry for Palace tonight who gave it a go to the end and got hit by a great strike from a £40m player. Agree with what someone said about Benteke though, I guess his legs had gone but it's pretty sorry when a player won't run for a ball (like Mane wouldn't before his transfer).

I'm probably being too optimistic, but if we were significantly better at 442 whether we might see this again? I'm not necessarily an advocate of 442 over other formations but it's got to be worth a try at the moment.

Agree re fitness with some of our players. if we do get out of this mess it's a relatively easy fix for next season. Fitness matters a lot in this league.

Yes we've gone from having the best defence in Europe to decidedly leaky in a relatively short time. We were so well organised defensively under Puel/Koeman but we have different players now. At least our defenders still get a few goals.

Again, everyone but the strikers. Good win and we were better but it would be nice to see our £15m strikers get a goal. That said Carrillo was busy and set up Tadic.
