I wonder if we have a fitness problem. That was our advantage coming into the prem with Adkins high pressing game which Poch continued. These days Tadic looks like he's puffing 10 mins into the second half, none of the midfield look like they want to move up with any pace once we have the ball in our half. Soares, Bertrand fit. Not sure about any of the others. We are second rate in the second half.

Had as many chances as them but as usual it's the quality in front of goal.

Thought Manure were going to get a late equaliser there....which is probably what would have happened if they'd been playing us. Need points even more now.

But my father grew up in terrible conditions in the Glasgow slums, the sort of poverty which is 'pretty much' eradicated now in the UK. Sure it's hard for young people now...high rents, education fees, etc but I expect my father would say we have it better now than he did. Then again, he's never really had to experience debt like people now have to.

Sometimes old people are wiser and do well with their vote. They've seen more of life and perhaps have witnessed societies make the same mistakes over and over that the young may not have. As an example, it may only be those over a certain age who have witnessed war first hand - these are people we should be listening to.

Wouldn't be surprised to get a point, we're good at that. If we have a clean sheet at 45 they'll start to get upset.

From what I saw his strike would have been a goal if it wasn't for Foster's excellent save. Also a header on target, albeit a bit soft and from distance. Too soon to say but getting into some good positions and looking dangerous in his first start.
