If he doesn't keep his mouth firmly clamped ,as I expect he will be contracted to do,he could get into a great deal of trouble, and when has 'arry ever been able to do that,duplicitous,greedy,self-serving piece of Rosies excrement. Best feel good Thursday for a long time, found out and nabbed at last. Spending more time with the family..................

How we do it is by playing the strongest team on the opening day, having brought them to peak fitness pre- season and winning and continue to win games and not let the heads go down as we are being kind to players who did a job in previous leagues and after an hour and being 2 goals down and we are flogging a dead horse bring on someone to pick up the pieces and hope we will scrape a draw. If we don't go out every game with conviction and belief that we can hold our own in the premiership I fear we may struggle. I very much look forward to the season and the new players who will come in and strengthen the squad that we have ,who will only get better playing with other talented footballers,it will be a rollercoaster but what a ride we will have !

We love where we sit with friendly people around us as we know them from season to season and it adds to the matchday experience to catch up their news and views on life ,the manager's tactics , a player who has done us no favours , and we look forward to this season ,but was a little shocked to find the ticket price this year for my 11 year old grandchild is £695,that is going to have to be a very big piggy-bank !

If I was in charge of West Ham I would be looking at a younger ,fitter manager for next season,as Sam talked of his medication when interviewed after the game ,I would be afraid for his health to have to stay up again. Glad for the Club though as the are proper.

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition
dellgirl replied to Jimmy_D's topic in The Saints
Ngog has played with Morgan at international level, could be a good start -
We have got rid of 2 long journeys for the lads and Blackpool would be another..... but it would be just the best to see Fat Sam's face if they lost,so has to be Blackpool for me.
-
No , but if we don't get rid of the dead wood who struggled horribly in the Championship, probably.

Read Saint 1977 and Professor who have got it spot on. we have changes to make and someone needs to be ruthless if we are to progress earlier than was imagined.
-
He is one of ours , the Club stood by him and I would hope that most Saint's fans on this site will be happy with the outcome.
-
I am sure you can feel the love and support of the Saint's family at this very sad for you and your loved ones. We really do care for each other in the bad times and I like to think of my Dad and Grandfather in the stand in the sky looking down on St. Mary's and I'm sure your Dad will have a great welcome and just think of all the stories they can swap . Hope the boys can do it for them on saturday.

We are a 3rd,4th and 5th generation of Saints and I wish the ones who went before could come back for a day and see what has happened to the Club they loved and supported since day one. We are truly blessed that we were saved by a special person who actually gave a damn and that his dream is being implemented.

Morgan as he is the engine room, but Kelvin ,Jos ,Jose and Rickie are the people we rely on,also happier when Jack plays.
-
What comes across is that he is a really good young man,who is using every opportunity to better himself after a pretty bad start in life, and continues to learn and get qualifications for later life. He has a faith that sustains him and his family. and a better role model in this greedy, abusive game that we all love so much would be hard to find, if knowing he has love and support in whatever form this crazy world now delivers feelings then so be it, Get well soon young man.

As long as N.A. gets on with the Chairman ,I can't see him moving until the work in progress is completed, and possibly only if he feels he can take them no further will he consider a move away. But we must see if we go up,how things are going after a season and whether everyone is still on the bus,as we will have additions to the squad in the summer who may not be as easy to handle as it would appear we have at the moment. On the subject of 'arry,he is shameless, touting himself everywhere,he must have worked out that the England job might be the end of the gravy train and his special financial arrangements.

Rickie Lambert - Championship Player of the Year 2011/12
dellgirl replied to saintmatt's topic in The Saints
We are very proud to have you Rickie, thank you and I hope your dream comes true along with ours. -
What's the old saying ' the truth hurts '.

Hammond is like a child playing in a mans game ,they pass to him he makes no impression at all,so they then play between themselves and make progress. It is embarrassing that he is in the starting 11,he causes problems,he can't help it he is just way out of his element. I would score him 4 and that is generous, please put him out of his misery and don't play him again.
-
The Manager ought not to start with Hammond ever... he disrupts the flow of play and runs around like a headless chicken, the players look as though they don't want to pass to him. he is just not good enough . The captainship should be given to someone else before the season ends, not in the summer to be kind to him, thanks for all you have done etc. I think you will find it was him mis passing the ball, not Morgan who ran his socks off for us, they look "similar" from afar and the 4 and 14 might confuse people without 20 20 vision. Guly started well and just faded. I'm sure we will have the right 11 out on saturday and a strong bench. COYR's

Done with great pleasure.Go Rickie go !

Morgan ,no flash but good solid work,he is the glue that makes us work as a team.

After 100 miles round trip and coldest I have been at a match since the Dell days, the first 20 minutes was so unbalanced that we couldn't link up, the better players were frustrated as they had nobody to pass to when they were in possession, Chaplow is not the second coming as some have suggested,of course he was rusty but that was poor even for someone coming back from injury. Glad Adam scored but by being flash nearly cost us a goal,Hammond did manage two passes that reached one of our players but was again ineffectuel and far too slow on the ball. NA said he had Josh Wright at S****horpe ,why didn't he bring him to Saints,he was the liveliest on the pitch and would have been a welcome addition unlike some signings. Lee showed promise again and think he will be o.k.Reeves looked class, I feel that if you have a big squad you have a natural No 1 and 2 for each position and the also rans and youngster to fill in but since our early success when "the team" were playing we have not managed to cover key positions. We have been slow in the transfer window for whatever reason and have passengers in our squad. Get our best 11 on the pitch for Saturday and we should be able to raise spirits again, keep behind the boys our lives would be the poorer without our great Club and we have a dream for the first time in many seasons,
-
Thought he showed very well considering what he has to adapt to in the English game ,was as pleased with him as I was totally underwhelmed with D.C. I don't really want to see him again unless a dire emergency arrives. Chun I like on early sightings and wish him the best of luck.

Morgan as has been said is by far the better player with great vision, dean will still have a good career in the lower leagues but as I have said before his brain is too slow for his feet and he is a bit wild like de ridder, they don't think about their actions. I am sure Dean is a lovely lad but he really should not be Captain at this level,he doesn't direct the game ,other than clapping his hands when we go a goal down or trailing a hand behind him. I agree with others that he can't make the grade to a higher level which is not a critisism but an observation.
