Heard 2 people talking in Sainsbury's that the staff have been told they won't get paid this month by e-mail, couldn't stand around any longer as it was getting obvious I was listening.

Last night Pearson had a luxury box of chocolates to pick from,we had a bag of pick and mix,we can discuss endlessly why that is , I am sure we all have our ideas what has come unstuck but it needs addressing now before it is too late and the players we will depend on decide they would be better somewhere else.

I just hope they have checked that Southsea Common is free on the glorious day as where else could you find room for all the loyal,faithful fans that have turned up in such numbers to support their plucky little team through thick and thin,awh bless.

Martin has improved and was o.k. last night but we really missed Fonte and I think when one of our preferred team is out we fall to pieces,Chaplow being out is another example. Our bench was very weak last night,we need some strength in depth if we are serious about this seasons promotion.

Morgan by a mile. Made Merrington look a bit silly on the radio before the match ,saying Hammond and Cork were his preferred duo.

de Ridder is on 4 yellows I think ,and we are a bit stretched due to injuries. Fonte also on 4,so we need to get through Xmas without any more.

Took my grandaughter and have to say it was a fantastic evening,they played so well that the evening was over in a flash,really impressed,no negatives and well worth the 70 mile round trip in nasty conditions. Well done Jason,well done the boys !

It is really sad that some people,whom I hope go to games, can't realise that Morgan is our best player,he is just 22 and will be the lynchpin of our side in the future. Some on here are very bitter about him which is very unfair as he has been a loyal and good servant of the Club since he arrived 4 years ago and has committed to the side and its future,support him ,don't knock him all the time,I am sure he does as he is asked by the manager and will carry out his instructions to the best of his abilities.Support the Frenchman..he is worth it !

It looked like a different game on t.v. we watched it as soon as we got home,and I was pleased the rest of the world saw that one,we looked much better ! Adam is very off the pace at the moment,too much trickery and not enough finish,it wasn't a bad day at the office as far as previous seasons have gone,we have a weak link who ought not to be playing. Bart ,you just feel sorry for and it depends on his character whether he can bounce back,that position along with ,others on here ,we know where we must strengthen to succeed,we have been shown the light at the end of the tunnel and if they want the support to continue they must go for it in January, the pack are chasing.

Now you know you should be wearing black,it is only fitting for a funeral,aah poor Pompey I knew you well and all that stuff.

As I remember,there is one big plus for them,didn't the clock go for repair ? So on the 18th we can all watch time running out for them,if it's back and working that is,if the repairer has been paid.........so many ifs for that upstanding,plucky little club down the road.

Perhaps in- house should get over themselves if a prospective target gets leaked,do the deal ,announce it as done, asap. Too many people ,involved in todays game to keep everything under wraps, I suspect this is why we are light and it is not clever, as we all know what we need and have done for some time,unless we have moved our own goal posts and are happy to stay here another year after the initial buzz that we were really going for it .

There was something very wrong with R.L. on tuesday,he came off virtually snarling, I really hope he isn't unhappy in general,he looks happy usually in close up in the league show and hope this was a one off. Always nervy with window arriving and the shadow of Pardew currently doing so well up north.

Will probably do as well as Burley when he went north. He told me McGoldrick was going to be the next big thing in English football. Not a favourite ,too in love with himself , but glad he had a kind side when it mattered.

I wish someone would do a song for Morgan,he is in his 4th season with us,is loyal and loves the Club and is still young enough to need encouragement to fulfil his full potential,please work on it you clever musical people,I think it would mean a lot to him.

Can it be the beer goggles that make Hammond look a good player ? He races around achieving little, his passing is poor he connected once with a long ball,his brain and feet don't seem to work together at all. I think he does his best and puts in lots of effort which is admirable but is he good enough at this level,it is not ideal to be unhappy with one of our boys who collectively are doing a wonderful job but I never see this wonderful partnership with Cork and I really want to and I watch intently as I am so proud of our team and want them to achieve their dream and ours.

Oh dear 3 games without Hammond whatever shall we do !

For N.A. to drop the captain several times and sub him should tell some of you that he is not up to the job at this level.Good journeyman but no finesse or flair and can't hold the shape of the midfield,sorry but he has worried me a lot lately.

He is a much nicer person now and has a happy marriage and 3 cracking kids and would like to be here ,I don't think money is an issue but the dressing room I don't know. As for the Marmite analogy my son says yes my nephew says no !
