  1. I disagree - one of the first things he said was that we need experience to get out of this rut we're in. Jason Euell was included in his first squad, whereas he'd missed out the past few squads under Jan. I think its a strong comment - at least we'll have people on the field that wish to play for us - which is exactly what we need right now.
  2. Fair play to the lad - said he didn't want to leave in the first place. Lets hope he proves those that let him go wrong!
  3. Skacel's not there either - he apparently has finished serving his ban. all fun and games again!
  4. Glad someone understood my thinking!
  5. Fair play to you Jan. I feel very sorry for the situation you were put in - good luck to you son - you seem like a top fella.
  6. Mods - can we have a poll on this one please? As a loyal season ticket holder, you can imagine that every other weekend is completely ruined by our inability to win at home. Will I have any weekends to cheer about following a trip to St Marys? I'm going with one more win. I'm not confident.
  7. I truly think this fella is great: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/7845804.stm Always saying he wants to stay, he's playing well, Kelvin Davis has well and truly impressed me this season. Thumbs up KD
  8. I really don't see what all the fuss is about Hunt, he's got a good engine on him, but if you watch him play, he's actually a bit sh*t.
  9. I too, am shockingly confused.
  10. Don't get me wrong - I do think he's a good player - but he can't finish chances he doesn't get.
  11. Who else do you play up front? Its the best option from what we have. Saying that, I've a horrible feeling that answer will be McGoldrick, with Euell in the hole.
  12. I'd stick Wright Phillips up with Saga, and bring in McLaggon on the right.
  13. Can't believe no-one has laughed at this yet. LOL!!!!
  14. Good call. Our problem however has been we've not been creating too many clear cut opportunities. I'll go for 3 - and seriously hope he exceeds that amount.
  15. Ah, I wasn't naked my friend. I'd gone into the trousers, but above the boxer shorts, but the potency of the chilis still made it through. Never bought another pair of M&S boxers following that. Come on you reds!
  16. Hindsight's a wonderful thing, strangely. Much like two nights ago, when i was chopping chillis then decided to give the crown jewels a bit of a scratch. Won't be doing that again any time soon!
  17. Why are we consistently linked with players we'd have to pay money for?
  18. She's been interviewed by the official site - class! : http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11170 Its been a while since we've had a Lucy thread, so now seems an appropriate time to have one! I think I love her.
  19. Dear Rebel No Love Rupert xx
  20. Yes - if the player doesn't want to go, he doesn't. You can't force someone to go somewhere.
  21. I'm here all week
  22. As I recall - did they not give him a one year rolling contract just like burley? So if they do give him the chop, they have to pay him a years salary - its not going to happen. Although, maybe Mr Lowe could ask Jan to pay his own compensation again......
  23. Agreed - I really couldn't see a well established manager in England taking what's currently happening. Jan's on a mint compaired to what he had at Helmond.
  24. Wonderful. Why we would prefer the left footed Ryan Smith to the right footed Dyer on the right of our attack I will never know. I'm going to enjoy the explanation for this one.
