Please, please, do NOT let Iain Dowie become our new manager.

Sir Clive Woodward the new manager.....? Watch this space!

Looks like they've finally gave us our deduction http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/default.stm

Two games in particular: 1.) Saints 2-2 Middlesboro 04/05 Season. Absolutely murdered them, but then they murdered us in the 93rd minute 2.) Saints 3-4 Leeds 05/06 Season. Remember the conversation with my old man at half time very well: Dad: I can't remember the last time we were 3-0 up at half time Me: I can.......

More than likely, suckling on my mothers breasts. (Just to confirm, I wasn't very old at the time )

I reassure you this is not the case (possibly)

£1m for DMG - Why do people think it's such a bad deal?
Big_Bald_Si replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
And how about selling McGoldrick? I just don't get what people see in him. I went to every home game this season, and time and time again, the lad frustrates with his inability to spot a pass and fluffing golden opportunities. His workrate for me, can be appalling as well. £1 million truly is a good deal for us, especially if we get to reinvest that money. -

I think he's useless. He's got no vision and I think he was fortunate ending up as our top scorer. Lacks drive and concentration for me as well. £1 million would be an excellent deal for us. -
Mug out!

Maybe its been a long day, and you need to get some sleep. 2 of the blue packet Nitol should do you some good

Ok, perhaps i've been a bit harsh on the penalties - but you have to admit, he has missed several this season. Some of the sitters he's missed have been unforgivable however. He also severely lacks any sort of vision and plays very much with his head down. Time and time again, i've been frustrated by his inability to see a good pass when we've been on the counter attack and he's just held onto the ball, subsequently losing it, and putting the buffers on what could have been a good counter attack.

I'm a wee bit perplexed as to why more people don't think receiving £1 million for DMG isn't a great deal for us. I think its a great deal for the Saints! I've been to plenty of games this season, and whilst he's scored a lot of goals, he's also missed a lot of opportunities, including several penalties, and I find him incredibly lazy. I think his attitude has always been poor as well. Bite their hand off please Mr Fry!

Then why not just close it until further notice, leaving recorded messages for anyone that does phone trying to buy tickets?
-
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11777 Now, call me naive, but what's the point in doing this when we can't buy tickets until our future is secure?

Saints new League is going to be

Are they selling season tickets to this yet? -
Fair play to the man. He's definitely been doing all the right things. I've got a lot of respect for the guy. Also agree we need someone British, young and hungry to take us forward, but definitely thumbs up to Mr Wotte for the way he's been handling things in the close season.

Guys - I'd like to call upon the example of Derby a couple of seasons back - they had a very similar arrangement to ours, avoided the deduction and changed owners. Hoping the Football League see it as similar enough. I'm also lead to believe that the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool are structured in the same way as us (i.e. parent company owning 100% of shares in the football club) to avoid any potential points deduction years into the future - don't quote me on that though.

Everyone get your arses down to St Marys for the last 3 home games - we can make the difference!! Simon Harris - Saint for life and beyond. COME ON YOU REDS!
-
Just been watching Sky Sports news - and a direct quote from the administrators was that they are "very seriously concerned" the club won't survive until the end of the season.

Breaking news on Sky Sports - the administrators have said they are "seriously concerned" the club will not survive until the end of the season. Just now. Sh*t

Why, oh why, has no-one questioned why on earth you were reading Gavin Henson's autobiography yet? I must be older than I think!

Man City - they've got loads of money! -
Not really a "dilemma" as such - we'd just be a bit screwed!
