When Arsenal lose their Champions League Qualifying Round, you can go to the Emirates on a Thursday night instead.

Are you for real? I haven't seen any Smurfs since Sheffield Utd away. Sep 07. (Well apart from meeting Dubai Phil at London Bridge before the Charlton game.)

People on here are soon going to be sick of playing the likes of Barnsley, Doncaster and Bristol City. Its also the only chance Charlie "the count" Wayman will have to see Arsenal.

Team Solent won the one that mattered last night. Retained the Southampton Senior Cup beating Queens Keep 2-1.

Big Ron and Dalgleish were supposed to be in the frame. A fansweb at that time would have been. I remember turning up at the County Ground and someone called out "Have you heard about Saints new manager?" When they told me who it was I was completely underwhelmed and agreed to resume playing Saturday footy again. I worked with a Reading fan who had told me how they had resorted to demonstrations and pitch invasions to get him sacked from there. Sound familiar?

Couldnt hack it any more and left at tea. Despite the best laid plans of the "think-tank" the wicket is still doing as much today as it was yesterday. The difference is that whilst Brown held it together for Lancs, despite being beaten by Griffiths every over, we havent got anyone in any sort of form to dig us out of the mess. Jimmy Adams was out chasing a wide. Myburgh shouldered arms and was bowled middle and off. Cork LBW 3rd ball and was probably out the ball before. The rest hang their bats out for catching practise. Another blow was the partnership of Hogg and Mahmood yesterday that took them over 300. Lancs got a 100 too many for that pitch. One ray of sunshine. Carberry netting both days. Cant get him, Lumby and Tahir back soon enough. Also learnt yesterday that the Test has sold so poorly that no temporary seating will be installed. Pi ss poor effort from so-called cricket fans in this area.

Nail down the coffin lid.

The AA? RAC? Green Flag?

FFS. He's gone. Get over him.

Bompey. Aaah. Bless.

Gandhi's in Portswood Road. Excellent last night and they kept the bar open well into the night.

It's a new contract for Adkins!!

Three? Brentford, ManUre and who else? -
Glass coffins? Will they catch on? Remains to be seen.

Higgy and Fuller are both out with long term injuries. Better be Delap to Kenwyne instead. Apart from the fact that this is their third season in the Prem and the players you mention aren't current internationals earning obscene wages, Stokes owner is the boss of Bet365 which has recentley got a foot in the USA betting market. Whilst not being Leibher-rich, he certainly makes the gun-runner and his son look like paupers.

5-a-side games might be all they can manage after the loanees, youth players and Nugent have fecked off.

Dimi played in the recent 2nd XI game and was restricted to 6 over spells and no more than 30 overs in the field per day. Not unlike the ECB restrictions on under 19s but imposed by our physio dept. See we gave a trial to Bilal Shafayat(ex-Notts) and he scored 219no.

What department do you work in?

Add to this the multi-million "wheeler dealing" he can get up to. I dont think the F.A. will go near him after his name is dragged through the courts this summer.

The "last 5" section is complete bol lox.

MODS. Please lock this thread as it is an obvious dig at Alpine, who wont be there to run on the pitch. (Or shout "Wan kers!")

Should let them borrow Ricky, to see if "Monkey Boy" was right.

How many Saints games have you been to this season?
Lets B Avenue replied to The Cat's topic in The Saints
48 out of 53. Missed 2 home . Plymouth (saw it on TV sheltering from the rain at the Edgbaston Test) and Bompey (league match). 3 away. Sheff Wed, Oldham (despite begging people to go) and Colchester.
