  3. It would be ironic that he got run over by a Carlsberg lorry. (Probably the best lorry......)
  4. Beware of dodgy dog-walkers round there. Especially oriental-looking ones.
  5. Even Graham Poll (everyone's favourite ) had a pop at him on Talksh ite this afternoon. said it was a definite red and that Pawson is a very weak ref.

  11. 3 years ago we lost 5-1, at this stage, at home to Nottingham Forest. We had Shaw and JWP playing, but they had Patrick Bamford, who scored 4 including a couple of "worldys". They were then drawn against Chelsea, who got through by buying Bamford for £1.5 million before the tie took place.

    I was gassed in Turin.
  19. Phew. what a relief. I haven't been able to sleep the past 2 nights with worry and you must also remember how the poor lad was also struck down by that vicious karate chop from Yoshi just outside our penalty area. I expect he's probably considering joining 'arry in retirement.
  20. I refer people to 5live Sport tonight and in the first half hour we had the utter joy of that c unt Martin Samuel defending the Twitch, with Steve Claridge, barely able to suppress his cynicism, in the background. If that wasn't enough, we were then treated to a character reference from the old war criminal himself. Mandy knew all about Harry's pain (well he would, wouldn't he?). It was Golden Radio.
  21. "Yeah. Kevin could do the job, f'sure."
  22. Its a 16th century farmhouse next to a 15th century level crossing.
  23. He will return as a Director of Football at some struggling club, promising to help and not interfere. Two months later the young manager will get the sack and he will step in to save the day. Or does that sound too far-fetched?
  24. Yes indeed. A total disaster. Strange that we voted him player of the year in his first season? Nice revision of history, Dave.
