That is very true but I dont think Adkins has the contacts and pulling power of Redknapp Adkins is not in a good position because the squad is not really PL standard and is going to struggle

Yes you are right most thought it was winnable but with the squad currently assembled we are going to have great difficulty winning many in the next few weeks There seems to have been little planning over the last year to get a reasonable PL squad together got to the PL by luck not sure where we will end up doubt it will be in Europe

The only fact is that Ramirez is still a Bologna player This probably means that we have not met the terms required by Bologna

In 1976 we were in Div 2 it was 1978 when we returned to Div 1 We did have a slightly more experienced team but money did not matter as much as it does today. Shame that we have such a tough start playing the top three three teams in the first few games but I am fairly confident that we will do OK
