Yes I agree really good but cannot believe we will finish higher next season especially if we lose a couple of players

But does it mean that Cortese was not a great Businessman but rather reckless and owners were worried that he was going to spend too much of their money But we are eighth which is great and the owners have billions so I dont care about the financial position in the least

I think you mean the delusions of Cortese SFC is a mid table PL Club with regards to manager who cares they never stay very long

Do you not understand Liverpool are one of the best sides with the best players in the PL Surely you did not really expect to beat them today and did not really expect to be higher than we are today with the players we have. I for one think we are doing well

The players who have left us in the last few years for millions ie OXO Walcott and Bale have all done really well so I would not be surprised if Shaw went somewhere in the summer for more money and Champions League action but I dont know what motivates him but playing at the top level must be very stimulating but only time will tell. I dont think the club will sell him if he does not want to go but lots of players do move to better clubs for a variety of reasons like Cork and Jay Rod moved to us

Jay Rod looked pretty poor in his first international probably because he was not used to the system being played so I would be surprised if he was picked again at the moment but maybe after the World Cup OXO Milner and Welbeck are more likely to be included . I think Baines will be the first choice LB with Cole as back up mainly because of his experience but Shaw will take over from him after the World Cup. RB is interesting though if Clyne was going to go surely he would have been included before now but with Johnson injured he may well be in the next squad but Hodgson may be looking for a more defensive fullback as the England defence is not that good and lacks pace covering the Fullbacks. Not sure about Lambert the heat in Brazil maybe against him but if he plays like he did at Fulham he has every chance but Carroll does upset defenders in the air. Although I would like too see Saints players at the world cup it is going to upset our pre season if so many are involved Lallana will go

I dont think we should go out and buy a striker just for the sake of it we need time to see if Gallagher is going to be a proper PL striker this time last year who would have thought chambers would be a regular in the side

We should have got rid of the Players from league 1 and championship days a long time ago not sure why we hung on to them or in some cases extended their contracts

NC is not a particularly nice person I am pleased he has gone some of the things he did not enhance the reputation of SFC. We were very lucky to have recruited Boruc otherwise we would have been relegated last season

From my United Mate 20 mins from the end I'm still not sure we're going to get there watching this - my fingernails are getting shorter and shorter. I've also long since given up going to finals - after 1999, it was never going to be the same. Basically, we've got 2 **** fullbacks, we're soft in the middle, no decent midfield and no threat up front!!! Hard to believe these same players won the league by 11 points last May. I wont feel duped because players come and go that is football but I do care how my club has been run in a slightly unethical way where alternative ideas have been rejected things may now improve in that area

Totally agree having advisors and a new top management team is going to be good for the club a couple of new signings would be good
