I thought Chaplow was here on a month's loan so what is the point of playing him if he is to return to Preston in a couple of weeks

Lets face it is Pardew's team Apart Lallana Schenderlein and Davis the rest were signed by him apart of course for Chaplow who is here on a month's loan

I think we will be promoted under Adkins like I thought we would be promoted under Pardew With our squad resources and fans and lack of injuries most managers should be able to get us out of League 1 the tricky part is getting us to the Premier League

I doubt if there will be many other clubs in the League this season which will get more than 84 points

Yes things are looking good next weeks game against Huddersfield should be a good pointer to the future Lets hope we have no mor injuries or suspensions which clearly will affect the team

Do you actually know what professional means ? He is professional athlete earning loads os money compared to you and me and should do everything to maintain his fitness.

Just think he has been unprofessional and let the club and the fans down. There is no real reason for a footballer to be out drinking until 3am

I am sorry to be pedantic but it is true that we did not need to get rid of Pardew and it may have jeopardized our promotion chances on the other hand getting in Adkins may have helped our promotion chances Just a couple of opinions which people may have. I do agree with your comments about name calling but you do give the impression that you are not tolerant of other peoples views. Somethings on here I agree with some I dont but posters should be able post what they really think without others being agressive towards their remarks

I think Adkins will do very well he seems intelligent and modern in his approach Although I felt it was harsh on Pardew when he was sacked I never really felt that he was the man for SFC despite loads of fans thinking differently. In fact I was pretty ****ed off with all the comments in Pardew we trust he did OK but felt that he could have done better with the players he had at his disposal

According to my source who I go to games with Defence extremely secure Lamberts Penalties very good but apart from them nothing much The team played with no real width and not much imagination But we are in League 1 and should be improving throughout October and I fully expect to be in the play offs after the Dagenham game and perhaps sooner

I find it very strange that since Pardew left the club fans think that he did not do a good job but while he was at the club he was greatly admired for doing a good job and most fans thought at the end of the season that it was ridiculous to sack him. I thought he did alright not great but should have been given the chance to get us out of League 1. I was surprised to hear that Danny Mills on Radio 5 Live said that Pardew was the best man manager he had come across so Pardew does have a good reputation within the game.

I think you make a reasonable point I would have hoped that we would have done a little better since NA came to SFC although we beat Sheff Wed I understand we did not play that well and not beating Yeovil was not good. I think Pardew did OK not great especially at the start of the season where we should have done better but he was not helped by individual errors in some away games something which of course happens at this level of football. So lets see what happens when/if Lambert and Lallana start scoring like they did last season. Other fancied teams are not winning regularly so there is everything to play for and after beating Bournemouth in August it will be interesting what happens on Saturday

Lets face we hardly signed anybody except Richardson as we had no right back and Dickson has not played much - although we have to pay Brentford appearance money Butterfield was signed after Richardson was injured . Pre season was poor going to Switzerland to play top class teams just as their season started was questionable followed by games against Farnborough Sutton Barnet where we did not play that well

Seems a very good call to me But getting in decent strikers/wingers on loan is not going to easy
